Any way to re-lock after you have unlocked? I know with the Titian there was a way but I didn't see instructions for this here. Thanks

I have a demo TP from Verizon and I want to make sure I give it back in stock condition.

Can somebody explain the reason why I'm getting a 262 error @ %0 without being a d*ck about it?

People have the tendency to explain how to do things on here as if everyone knows how already, Without taking the people who may not know into account.

Hm... can't seem to get it to either. Stock XP Pro, sprint touch pro.

Did it from an activesync connected touch pro, Gets to the progress bar, which never moves. After a while it gives up with a failed message Error 262.

This is rev 2 hardware if that matters.

Recovery by pulling battery just gets me back rebooted no issue, but no unlock either. Tried booting to tri-color screen as well during "recovery" - it tries to flash, has same error. Any ideas?

Hi, I'm not very clear about the NOTE 5: "use Relocker *only* if you need to return the phone for warranty. only use it as last step - after reflashing stock OS and radio. " So, what should I do if I'm not satisfied with the non-stock rom and want to flash it back to the stock one. Is there any official stock rom available for Sprint Touch Pro now? Thanks.

One last attempt

Removed Pocket PC USB Sync device, rebooted.

Manually put it in tricolor mode. Plugged it in - used different USB port for luck.

Windows shat a small turd. Installed some drivers...

Launched RRU.

RRU makes happy confident sounds like its going to work.

Lovely progress bar stuck at 0% forever....

Oh look, error 262! and I'm spent. This dog isn't going to hunt.

Ok, third PC was the charm. Beats me. SPL flashed. Radio flashed to 1.11. Yay.

Same issue here. Just stepped up from Mogul where I just relocked and sent back with a stock rom (was running NUEROM pre3).

I get "Loading...." and then the 262 error. I am using Vista, have Net3.5 and WMDC. when I start the Hard-SPL the usual RUU screens come up and then when the PC shows 0% device shows Loading....

With Titan, this was replaced by its own bar within a few seconds. Here it just seems to time out looking for the usb connection.

I DO NOT have the advanced network functionality box checked.

Any other ideas??????

I have no idea what the problem is, personally
If you wade thru the whole topic the debugging steps are

* try unchecking advanced... you did that (note, that's usually the trick to get around Av/Firewalls, which makes me wonder....)

* try the manual approach in post #1 - it's at the bottom of the post: you install an app on the TP, run it, and it basically gets it into the ready to flash mode, skipping the ActiveSync step

* try deleting the drivers on your PC for the USB Sync device, then try connecting the TP, should re-install drivers, then try the flash again (dunno if that one is for Vista... did not hurt my XP box, didn't fix it either)

* try another USB port

* try another PC (PROFIT! This is what worked for me - sigh.)

It *might* have something to do with your antivirus/firewall getting in the way, if you want to try disabling all that before you do it it also couldn't hurt - for safety sake DISCONNECT from the internet first before disabling FW/AVir. It's jungle out there.

For me, I tried all the above on my normal xp laptop with Symantec Total Biteme corporate antivirus/fw that can't be fully disabled, and it just would never go. Fired up the wife's XP lappy, and bam it went right away *after* I disabled her firewall/av. Weirdly, *after* I got the SPL on the TP, I was able to flash a new radio with no problem at all on the first laptop - the one that just could not get the SPL flash on.

Keep trying, eventually you'll get there.
