To both above, try removing drivers as explained in my post on the previous page.

If it gives you a problem again just got to Device Manager and uninstall the driver....you should not have to uninstall AS.....

Question on MISUSE of RUU for HSPL flashing:

What if this RUU was used to flash a ROM which doesn't seem to be 'unflashable'.

Any suggestions?

I don't want to ask a dumb question, but I am dabbling in the flashing world and I want to make sure I can jump back to OEM if things don't go as planned... Does anyone know where I can get the Sprint Touch Pro OEM ROM?

i use both vmware and parellels and i find that i have to turn on advanced networking when flashing roms. also make sure you have the VM machine settings to use usb 2.0

Re: Touch Pro CDMA Hard-SPL brought to you by CDMA Raphael Elite Team

I have an Alltel HTC Touch Pro, am using Windows Mobile Device Center on an x64 copy of Windows Vista, and am using the correct Hspl file.

However when I attempt to run it onto my HTC Touch Pro the process continues as described in the original post, until it reaches the loading bar. The loading bar goes from 0% to 100% instantaneously on the phone and PC. There is no evidence, upon hard reset, that the phone has been HardSpl'd, does anyone know why this could be?

It's quite frustrating and has occured repeatedly. Did I miss something?

Enter BL and it should say SPL 0.37.CMONEX....pic attached

Heres how to enter BL in case you dont know....

Option 1 - Press and Hold the Power and Volume Down buttons and use the stylus to reset your phone while holding those 2 buttons.

Option 2 - Completely power down your phone (i.e. take out battery). Press and Hold the Power and Volume Down buttons until the phone powers on in the boot loader screen.

To get out of it, simply use your stylus to reset the device.

Dear god I feel like an idiot. I was holding volume down, the main button, and pressing the reset with my stylus. Thank you very much for your assistance.
