Re: Touch Pro CDMA Hard-SPL brought to you by CDMA Raphael Elite Team

Question for clarification and learning.

The Verizon Touch Pro has 192 MB of ROM with 64 MB utilized (reserved) for the OS. When unlocking the phone, does this allow for the full 192 MB to be flashed? I guess what I am getting at is, if I go with a clean cooked ROM flash (not many programs, just stock Windows 6.1) will I potentially have more RAM available? Thanks.

Thanks for the work guys!

Does unlocking the Verizon Touch Pro also reset it to factory defaults? Or will all your apps and docs still be on the phone after the unlock?

Re: Touch Pro CDMA Hard-SPL brought to you by CDMA Raphael Elite Team

Where are all the postings of users stating their success with VZW flashing / loading up the roms? I figured there would be a thread dedicated to this but I haven't seen anyone say (outside of the devs and testers) say they have it loaded.

Can someone lead me in the right directions? I guess I fail at searching...

Great work from the Raphael Elite team!

Tried to run the VZW Hard-SPL, mobile tried to launch EnterBootLoader.exe, which failed.

No damage caused, but I'm going to wait until someone with more experience get this working... this is my first WM phone, and I don't want to make a noob mistake. =)

1. Downloaded the file and Unzipped.
2. Connected my touch via USB and made sure it was visable in My Computer (utilizing Activesync). I did not have to put it in Bootloader.
3. Ran "Raphael_VZW_HSPL_035" and followed the steps on the screen on my computer. Make sure that the "VZW_TP_SSPL-Manual" is in the same folder.

Worked for me...

Did that, but the component on the phone that enters the bootloader never came up... asked me to execute, but failed.

I'll give it another shot.

Re: Touch Pro CDMA Hard-SPL brought to you by CDMA Raphael Elite Team

Tried it again (after copying all .exe files to a single directory), and it worked... saw the multicolor bootloader and I'm booting back into my stock ROM as we speak... no data lost.

Great work!
