no, you're not in trouble.
Make sure you have Activesync (for XP) or WMDC (for Vista) installed. Then, try this: click on Start-Settings-Connections-USB to PC, then check or uncheck the box under activesync.

Thank you guys for the precise method of unlocking and upgrading. Now my pictures and videos are recieved instantly. Instantly meaning 15mn or less, not hours or days. I was truly frustrated with Sprint service. Now I may stay with them.

Hey guys,

Im having issues here. I have flashed a Verizon Touch Pro in april and it was fast and easy. I followed the instructions on the first post and voila! However this time im i having problems. I got a new phone cuz my last one broke. Currently the phone is working somewhat normally. Right now i cannot send pic messages for some reason, this is really the reason why i want to fix this and the GPS.

I am receiving 202 Error when trying to unlock. When i try to load a rom i get the 0% marker but it doesnt move. I do get error 626 followed by the recovery steps.

Anyways I downloaded the VZW package. Ran the unlocker and this is what my tri color screen says:
RAPH500
SPL-0.35.0000
MicdroP-Raph (LED) v8182
MicroP-Raph (KEY) v0682
PSOC-Raph STAGE_EVT v20

now it doesnt say CMONEX anywhere. I booted the screen manually by holding down the down volume, power and reset button. I can boot up the phone normally and everything is ok.
- I did uncheck the icon for activsync under the USB connection setting on my phone
- ActivSync is working since i can explore my phone
- Tried to unlock the phone using the unlocker multiple times.
- No micro SD card installed.
- Tried loading the manual.exe on my phone and run it (but computer doesnt recognize anymore as a device)
At one point i was able to get to the tri color screen and see USB at the bottom. Now when i enter that screen i dont see USB at the bottom. So the phone is not recognizing the USB connection anymore.

I have only tried using the USB method as i dont havfe a Micro SD card card. Ive spent 2 days trying this on my work laptop(vista 32bit) and as well as my home desktop(vista 64).

I have read multiple posts here and the usual problems are people not checking off the ActivSync option in the phone USB to PC settings but mine seems like it once did communicate and now it doesnt want to

Do you have WMDC installed? If you do, connect phone and establich activesync connection. Then, while connected, check or uncheck the activesync option box and you should hear your computer re-recognize the usb device and install a driver if neccessary. then open the unlocker exe. if it still doesn't work, then restart computer and phone, then retry it. good luck

Yes.. i have WMDC installed. Issue remains. :(

Does it looks right? I need to return the phone to Sprint.

I fixed mine!! i did it on my buddys computer!! damn i cant believe it was 2 computers not working for my phone.

yep. 0.37.0000 means you're locked. And if you did the sprint shipped rom, then your radio should be 1.03.15F, so it should be ready for return.

Sorry for posting here, i just found out what the diff. between CDMA and GSM models is. so i was doing it all wrong. Sry for wasting your time. now i will go try out the guides in GSM section
