I need help!

I am also getting the error 202 msg.

here it is. i am running xp sp3 with everything up to date.
my unit is CDMA Bell touch pro.
yes the usb is plugged in
yes the phone is sync
i do have NET 3.5

i tried uninstalling/reinstalling activesync
i also did a registry cleanup on both my phone & PC
i am not using a usb hub

any suggestions would be more then welcome, cuz i'm sick of my bloated stock rom.

forget about it, looks like it finally worked. and now flashing a new rom.

i'm having trouble relocking my phone. i'll see the tri colored screen on the phone and then i'll see an error screen on my computer. it then tells me some steps i should do to reset my phone. any ideas?

p.s. i've flashed back to the stock rom.

my phone alreays says SPL-0.37.0000 and at the top of the phone it says security unlocked. do i even have to do this?

Heres how to enter BL in case you dont know....

Option 1 - Press and Hold the Power and Volume Down buttons and use the stylus to reset your phone while holding those 2 buttons.

Option 2 - Completely power down your phone (i.e. take out battery). Press and Hold the Power and Volume Down buttons until the phone powers on in the boot loader screen.

To get out of it, simply use your stylus to reset the device.

No it is not un-locked....read this above and then go to this same post #329

How did you guys solve your issue? I'm getting Error 202 and I can't figure out why. I can ActiveSync just fine, but when I run Hard-SPL, it progress bar just stays at 0% briefly then I get the error screen :(

I can't get this to work. It keeps erroring on me. I have ActiveSync up and running, I downloaded the file and ran it, it gets to the 0% screen and does nothing after that and gives an error.

I have the Telus HTC Touch Pro.
