i was trying to relock my phone to return/repair it. i've used the relocker but my tricolor screen still says spl 0.37 security unlocked. is this correct or what is it supposed to read when it is relocked?

hey i have a Htc touch pro as you all should know lol and I'm trying to relock my phone but everytime I try to relock it, it always seem to load the previous rom that i put on their (which is mighty Rom) is there something I am doing wrong? because I flashed it then put the relocker on my phone but still get the same problem. Reason i'm trying to relock my pro is because my touch pro screen is stuck side ways and I need to return to sprint for another thanks for ya help hope to get a reply thanksss

ahhhhh arrrrrghh!!!! I have lost my voice command both announcments of alarms to earpeice and (caller ID??? hmmm didn't know it did that). After the sucessful unlock & installation of Mighty Rom 6 (which I LOVE) but the advance config tool WILL NOT install from my sd card or directly on the phone. NO I don't have ANY experience editing the registry but....AND what's this I hear??? if you go back to the MR1 upgrade after installing mighty rom that the gps 3 upgrade will brick my TP?? Say it aint so....

Here is my problem. I just exchanged a TP for another (I am very sure it was refurbished). I went into the bootloader and noticed that it was already unlocked. I thought that was great. I tried to flash a custom rom, wouldn't work. I tried to flash a stock sprint rom and it wouldn't work also. After a few tries I noticed that it was Hard-SPL .35 instead of .37. I have Sprint. How do I fix this? I tried re-unlocking it and it just stays on the Loading screen. I tried to lock it and it just stays on the loading screen. Same thing with a Shipped Rom. Please help.....

it has to say cmonex in the spl version to be unlocked. it probably didn't come unlocked.
just take mem card out, then run the unlocker.

I feel like a dumb***. I have done about 10 of these and I just forgot to take out the card.

i just got a new sprint refurb today, it had the old rom so first thing i did was flashed to new sprint official, it updated my radio, prl, rom and it appears to have updated my spl to 0.40, but odd thing was it didnt update my pri, stayed at 1.47, im unlocking now with 0.37 and trying to reflash to see if it updates pri

alright, it may just be the pc im on at work bugging but now that i updated my stock rom to latest which included stock spl .40 its not letting me unlock, i keep getting to 0% then a recovery connection error, i think i may have to flash back to the old stock rom, unlock, then update, then flash custom rom

this happened to me also and i figured out what to do.

download SSPLManual_Raphael.zip to your phone / unzip / connect via active sync / run SSPLManual / you should now be in boot loader / unlock

That's actually my PRI also...should it be newer with the new ROM even if I have an alternate radio (I use the Verizon)?

I'm having a problem with the relocker. It still states my device is unlocked afterwards, but says it applies itself successfully. I'm flashing from the SD card on a Sprint Touch Pro. Any suggestions?

I just got my refurb TP today because my keyboard went out.... anyway,

I am trying to unlok my phone and I am having the same problem, but when I try to use the SSPLManual_Raphael.zip I am getting an error also.....

Any suggestions?

did you unzip the file? once you do that you run the file from your phone. that should put the phone in bootloader. if it does that you should be able to run hspl 0.37. if you cant unzip ssplmanual on your phone, just do it on your computer and then transfer to phone.

btw... make sure that you are connected via active sync

it always says "Security Unlocked". you have to look at the SPL version on the bootloader screen:
0.37.0000 = locked
0.37.cmonex = unlocked
try this. click start-settings-connections-usb to pc, then uncheck the box under Activesync, then connect your phone and try to unlock again.

the pri will also be update when you flash the new sprint rom only if you flash following the instructions on the htc website where you downloaded it.

Okay guys, got my new Touch PRO, so much nicer then my Mogul, but I'm having a hell of a time unlocking this guy. Just up front, I read approx the first two pages in here, and the last 5, and did a search within the thread with the term "error". Also to point out, I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate x64 RTM.

I'm not getting very far, I've downloaded Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037.exe, and made sure "Mobile Device Center" see's my device as connected, but when I run Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037.exe I get all the windows I'm suppose to get, then the device reboots into the Tri-Color screen, and after a short timeout on the PC side, where the progress bar doesn't move it says that the USB cable is disconnected. I'm gone into the settings and changed how active sync handles the advanced network options, but with the advanced network unchecked I can't get Mobile Device Center to see my device....

I've picked up on two things, one, mem cards seem to have a change of fouling things up, espically if it has .nbh file on it, which mine doesn't, and I removed the mem card to to simplify things further

and two, that there is a why to flash from the phone / mem card...but I haven't been able to find any threads really detailing how to do so.

It's 5 o'clock here at work, so my game plan is to get home, and try again with my laptop, which is still running Win 7 Ult. x64, RC1 however, and try to attack my device again. If it fails, I'll check back on here and see if anyone can help me learn to do a flash from the mem card, and if it works, I'll post back that I got it work from a different system.

when you flash from an sd card (no connection to pc necessary) you need to rename the file to RAPHIMG.nbh. you also have to manually put the device into bootloader... power off / press and hold power and vol down at the same time until tricolor screen appears. you should now be in bootloader mode and being asked if you would like to flash.

hhrrrmmm....Okay, status update...

copied the file to the root of my sd card, renamed it to ralphimg, all caps, and did a soft reset. Now, I've been at a gray screen that says "loading...", and that's all it's doing for.......*looks at clock* 25 minutes now....

Bad flash image?
should I have deleted all the files off the sd card as well?
something else?

I saw in that thread about the sd flashing (thanks for the link) that it should have asked me to "Press power to continue" or something similar, but it never did so...just right to that "loading..." message......

what now? :( lol

are you trying to unlock your phone after flashing the new maintenance ROM from HTC?

if so you need to do this ---> download SSPLManual_Raphael.zip to your phone / unzip / connect via active sync / run SSPLManual from your phone / you should now be in boot loader / unlock with HSPL 0.37

Here's my story.

Happy Mogul user for nearly 2 years, but saw WinMobile 6.5, and said, wooo, I want that...

got an upgrade to the Touch Pro. Got it on Friday, had some problems with data services, got that all fixed on tuesday, and now want to get MightROM 6.5 running on it. On Mighty Mike's thread about installing the ROM he said the phone needs to be unlocked and started there.

Thats where I got the file I said in the post above, that wouldn't load through the PC, so I took the RalphIMG and put in on the SD card and did the soft reset.....

Okay, got ahold of sspl-manual, ran it from my phone, and everything worked like a charm. check the "tri-color" screen just for verification and I have SPL-0.37.CMONEX now. On to the next steps!
