I believe I've ironed out the major issues but we will still keep it as experiment form:

6.1 with Sense 2016
Build 21057
pagepool is set to 8. Use the pagepool changer included to adjust.

Rom is now open to every carrier, not just verizon.

Accessing thanks for your effort, I would really like to try your twisted access 1.1 rom but it gets stuck. Basically the latest rom that I could run was probably the energy 23569 rom. I really hope you'd be able to figure whats up with the rest of the roms that they don't load.

I am hoping to get there my friend. For some reason it works for everyone else except Verizon users. So I will be working from here to iron this issue out.

Nice... I offer my devices for testing.... Thx for looking out for the VZW crew...

Is it the build your using that wont let it boot??.. Im not a cook so very new to that part.... Once that is worked out we can begin hammering...

After trying quite a few roms I noticed that these programs hang up or slow down the VZW version:

1) Sense UI
2) Facebook Contact tab
3) Upgraded weather tab
4) Opera on 6.5

Some to include:

1) Clean Ram
2) S2U2 ( best/ most useful program ever)

I have been playing around with Calkulin's_Visual_VGA_Kitchen_v4.2 but cant get a rom to boot for nun.. Just gets stuck at the vzw boot screen

well all the same lol cause i currently run the just works rom and it seems to give my gimp phone a purpose besides a paper weight lol. I duno if putting a higher sense on 6.1 will work but i think as long as the drivers are in place it should be fine

Hi all, the work looks great, I have been using Twisted Sense 1 LT (windows 6.5 w/ 2.5 sense) on the Verizon TP and it works well. With stripping out some of the unnecessary start-ups I can run with about 25 mb free. However the caches fill up soon and quickly you are at 91% until you run a clean RAM again.

On Calkulin's kitchen Sense 2.1 runs well with 6.1 but there are a couple bugs that stop it from being too effective. (backgrounds don't change for many tabs and the dialer always gives me grief)

I have been tinkering with RSTG's kitchen with sense 2.5 based of Calkulin's 4.2, I have gotten al the EXT's in and enabled but don't know the correct combination of them and this has been the closest I have gotten. I am no chef and don't really understand the errors but I know enough to brick my phone :) The link is here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...=121556&page=3, he includes all the 2.5 sense mods that can be dragged and dropped right into Calk's kitchen.

I will keep looking to see if I can figure anything else out. Otherwise I am up for testing if anyone has anything.

Just for reference, I have tried most ROM's ou there for the Verizon TP and SSK's Preview 2 Kitchen is the best I have ever used. Since Scott released it, it has been the most stable and straight forward.

I pulled alot of stuff out the rom I cooked up lastnight! Still looking for a newer sys,and rom to build. Whats the newest 6.1? and I got 6.5 to load to just the ram went threw the roof! I will keep at it and see what I can cook up.

Ok. I got it to work. Made a kitchen from scratch. 6.1 with sense. No customization. Do whatever you want with it. It works on my sprint so I guess anyone can use it. Uploading now.

Well, I doing this by request. This is not available in the touch pro scene.

Anyway, again this is with no customization. I am posting it to show that it works. You can play with it to determine what needs to be fixed, then I'll work on it to make it ready for primetime. I've already notice some issues with album, might see if album with facebook uploading works.

Ok tested the rom it works but glitchy. msg tab doesnt work. ram runs around 50-58 which is the best i seen so far as far as sense 2.5 goes. Great work!!!! i think after removen all the vzw crap and tweakn the os this will be very nice rom. I couldnt change the pagepool cause i flashed from sd. If ou could post a oem for sense i will test it in a rom im workn on. Weather and everything else worked. only issues i found was messagen tab and the left screen key was buggy. Thanks for the hard work

Test the Rom Access and it works great! I haven't seen a VZ phone start yet at 58% and hover around 70% with 2.5. The ROM booted up quickly and it seemed like most of the build worked. A couple things I found: There was an error with the audio tab - Audio Manager_eng is not a valid PocketPC file and then as you mentioned the album program crashes constantly and is very buggy. The baseline programs that come with the VZ ROM crash often (Opera 9) and I get a startup error from shell32. SMS messaging does seem very buggy and in the HTC contact I couldn't send a text message.

After applying your tweaks to this I Think it will breathe life into the TP's for all the Verizon users. Cutting out the bloatware would help and adding the tweaks from your ROM would make it fantastic (manila locker, icons, color scheme, tweaks etc...)

it's for CDMA devices and includes a lot of the things that you aim for. It is a modified calk kitchen.

Ok after hrs of reading seems like I have to do alot more readn lol cause portn the sense has to have more. Much respect accessing!!! if you get tried of this rom please let me know be hppy to handle it :)

After testing the ROM more last night I found frequent crashes when scrolling through the contacts list under "All Contacts." HTC Sense restarts and Opera Mobile opens, opera crashes and Sense finishes the restart.
