The wall charger thing is very odd, I removed the quick charge software from the last revision, but i replaced it with the stock charging drivers... Mine is running the same revision and it charges on the wall and the computer (and xbox as well). Im not sure what to tell you, try installing the quick charge app. If you need a link, pm me i dont have it off the top of my head, i think its a nuerom program.

The internet tab definitely does not work. I managed to get it to work with a complicated workaround, but im still working on putting said workaround into the rom so you guys dont have to do anything, or at least only a little bit of editing (since you choose what browser to use, you would have to tell it which one you want the tab to run, but other than that i should be able to get it to that point. It involves editing a file that isnt there in my rom, so im working on adding said file and getting it all together.)

Hmm, thats odd with the camera, mine always defaults to the memory card, and just checking now, it allows me to switch the destination back and forth...

Im not sure about the carrier rom you're installing, I dont think ive even heard of metro pcs, lol. Maybe someone else viewing this rom can offer you some assistance?

the camera fixed itself today, i guess it didnt realize it had a memory card until now

if i sent you my carrier cab would u be able to cook it in a version?

Sure, just a word of caution, if it doesnt work when you install it, i cant guarantee it will work if i cook it in, but ill give it my best shot and post your metroPCS rom up asap!

Bloody good news! I have figured out the default browser tab issue, and will be posting fix files shorty, along with an updated version of the rom. Please note, the fix files for each browser will probably ONLY work if you use the new 28 version rom.

what this cab actually does is: inputs all the wap settings except phone number, installs arcsoft mms, and inputs my mms settings - which i think includes a registry edit.

ur rom is the first that hasnt allowed it to install tho so thats why i'm confused by it.

im gonna try your ROM out... after trying a number of 6.5 roms, none of em really worked as good as they claimed... if it's not locking up, my battery is draining at -1% by the min, or im not able to access EPST or something! i hope this works better for me.

So i installed your latest generic 28 rom (since im on cricket), looks pretty nice, and is pretty fast. However, I am having some issues..... When i go into EPST and edit the Modem Settings, it gives me the error "The "Preferred Serving System is out of range". It comes up on 'Sprint Only' and I am trying to change it to Automatic but it does not save and instead of being told to hit ok to reset the device, the device is shut off. The same thing happens when I try to update the PRL. So after starting back up and looking at EPST settings again, nothing has changed... Any ideas? Is it the EPST version? :scratch: I havent had this issue with other ROMs. Thanks.

Hmm.. I dont have a whole lot of experience with the epst settings, Do you have a cricket carrier cab to use? Or are you encountering problems when you do by hand the tasks that normally a carrier cab would perform? As I have an embarassing numer of times in the past, I'll ask the gurus reading this thread if they can contribute their two cents as well. Hopefully we can get something figured out. :)

From what I've seen it is caused by the more recent epst.exe versions. I'm attaching the one that I use in my ROM. Just copy it to your \Windows folder, overwriting the one there, then try changing your settings.

u were right that it didnt work freshly flashed but it did allow me to install the carrier cab myself so now both WAP and MMS work. much appreciated man!!!

Hello Popssracer. Is the new update 5/22 improve performance. From what I read the update is to fix browser tab issue. Is the update for anyting else? I am trying to determine if I need to upgrade, because I don't use touch flow. I use Mobile Shell 3.5.x with your ROM. Might I add, it's a darn good and very fast ROM! Thanks for making such a reliable and clean ROM.

No, if you use mobile shell, theres no good reason to update. Excellent program, mobile shell. You know i have a version of the Just Works rom just for mobile shell users, i just hadnt released it. Let me know and ill post a link to a version for your provider.

Sprint Carrier no-manila just for SPB users rom is up on the first post of this thread. Check it out and lemme know what you think! It will load probably with just a blank screen with the start menu and all that up top, just install SPB from there :-D

Which version of SPB do you use? Have you gotten the themes and whatnot to work? I was using 3.5.3 and there were several things that wouldnt work, so I emailed them about it and they told me that in order to make it 6.5 compatible they had to change some things that made some things in MS not work in 6.1...

I am using 3.5.4., I feel the performance is a little better than 3.5.3. I mostly wanted to see if the new version can handle lots of calendar events. So far, not so good. I am not sure how many Calendar events will cause your MS to perform very slowly. What really helped was Nue's overclocking, the CAB states that my process is running 728Mhz, but I cannot validate. All I can say is the speed has improved many times over. I can provide the CAB tomorrow if you like as well as a theme with smaller icons to allow more shortcuts on a screen.

hi, for some reason a couple of day after i updated to the latest version of this rom the 3d touch flow wont start on my phone, has anyone had thins problem or know of a way of fixing it?

Thats really odd. Ive never had that problem, but I'll keep my eyes and ears out for issues. What does it do exactly? How far does it get? Does it boot and then freeze? or boot and then just hang out with a blank screen w/ the startmenu on the top?

I have found that the battery life is quite good actually. I would say its pretty much better than any of the other roms I've used personally. Other users using this rom can put their two cents in here?

So far I'm loving this rom. Everything about it is better than stock, which is the second best rom for my device. I really tried to like the 6.5 custom versions, but not only did I have software problems, I just couldn't get into the little changes to the way it works. For me WM 6.1 actually works better than 6.5, it's just more intuitive to use the way my brain thinks (like when I want to delete an email, it's right there on the left soft key, I don't have to click on the right softkey for a menu first). I also don't like the "clunky" way all those third party tools make windows run (some of the tweaks are nice, but with all that can go wrong are just not worth it). After the fourth hard reset (when away from home) I'd had enough with 6.5.

But anyway, that's my take with my device (Sprint Touch Pro). I followed all the rules such as flash dancing, but my phone was never stable with a custom 6.5 rom. I've been working in I.T. for 15 years and I've been doing this since the 6700 days so I don't think it's me (but who knows)...

The name of this rom says it is perfect for my use: it JUST WORKS!

If it's cooked into the rom it would be under Start > Settings > System. If it's not there, it's not cooked in.

I dont think I cooked this into the rom. On the next update, Ill include it, I dont think it will effect the stability, memory consumption or other things that are important for this rom. If this assumption is incorrect, you proper gurus please feel free to correct it :).

Lol, i was wondering when someone was going to point that out. Its installed as part of that nice metal taskbar dealie. thats on my to-do list is to get into that taskbar package, find those two little pictures and thin em out a little. On the TOP of that to-do list in fact. :)

To Do list for the next update:
1. Fix that ugly check mark (and x).
2. Add the long press end key thing.

im sorry for the late post but i was out of town and in a place without internet. anyway the phone booted up almost all the way, it stayed in a screen with the calendar and contact tabs on the bottom, and in the center it said launching 3d flow touch but it stayed there for an hour. but i re-flashed the rom and it was fixed, maybe i did something wrong. anyway thanks for the concern.

anyway i think its great your going to change the x icons and the issues with it, cause the tab look great in general but the x kind of didn't fit in. thanks in advance

Fast is right! I LOVE this ROM. Starts up in no time at all and is the fastest ROM I have ever used. PLUS the battery life is BY FAR the best I've experienced. The only thing the ROM lacks for me is ezInput. But, it is available at http://www.touchprofreeware.com/2009...-keyboard.html. Oh, and long press end key function. Great job on the ROM. Thanks a million! I'm serious about the battery life.

Ive been using the ROM for about a week now and plan on sticking to it, I have definitely loved it. None of the issues ive had with a lot of the 6.5 roms on here, like slow keyboard response, fast batt loss, etc Ive had to deal with on this one so great job man! \\:D/

Now, I do agree about the checkmark thing but I dunno if making it smaller will make a difference cuz as ugly as it is, it is nice to be able to tap that corner and have it work the first time instead of tapping 10 times before u finally get it. I would also like the long press end key, just cuz ive always used that to end my data connection. anyone know of a cab that can be installed that will close the data conn automatically after a certain amount of time of inactivity?

As an aside, any suggestions on how I can change the clock and maybe some of the icons at the top? It's hard to see like for example when my data conn is open, or when its on vibrate, etc.. as far as the clock ive just never liked huge numbers on my phone, theyre bigger than my grandma's alarm clock lol... im not too familiar with how all this works together, are these things part of a theme? or, part of touchflo?
