So far I'm loving this rom. Everything about it is better than stock, which is the second best rom for my device. I really tried to like the 6.5 custom versions, but not only did I have software problems, I just couldn't get into the little changes to the way it works. For me WM 6.1 actually works better than 6.5, it's just more intuitive to use the way my brain thinks (like when I want to delete an email, it's right there on the left soft key, I don't have to click on the right softkey for a menu first). I also don't like the "clunky" way all those third party tools make windows run (some of the tweaks are nice, but with all that can go wrong are just not worth it). After the fourth hard reset (when away from home) I'd had enough with 6.5.

But anyway, that's my take with my device (Sprint Touch Pro). I followed all the rules such as flash dancing, but my phone was never stable with a custom 6.5 rom. I've been working in I.T. for 15 years and I've been doing this since the 6700 days so I don't think it's me (but who knows)...

The name of this rom says it is perfect for my use: it JUST WORKS!

I can't seem to find the option to change the Long-press End Key function. Am I just missing it?

If it's cooked into the rom it would be under Start > Settings > System. If it's not there, it's not cooked in.

I dont think I cooked this into the rom. On the next update, Ill include it, I dont think it will effect the stability, memory consumption or other things that are important for this rom. If this assumption is incorrect, you proper gurus please feel free to correct it :).

Just flashed on my Verizon TP. Works great.. only thing is.. what is up with the big ugly check mark / x on the top right of the screen? Other than that, great work.

Lol, i was wondering when someone was going to point that out. Its installed as part of that nice metal taskbar dealie. thats on my to-do list is to get into that taskbar package, find those two little pictures and thin em out a little. On the TOP of that to-do list in fact. :)

To Do list for the next update:
1. Fix that ugly check mark (and x).
2. Add the long press end key thing.

im sorry for the late post but i was out of town and in a place without internet. anyway the phone booted up almost all the way, it stayed in a screen with the calendar and contact tabs on the bottom, and in the center it said launching 3d flow touch but it stayed there for an hour. but i re-flashed the rom and it was fixed, maybe i did something wrong. anyway thanks for the concern.

anyway i think its great your going to change the x icons and the issues with it, cause the tab look great in general but the x kind of didn't fit in. thanks in advance

Fast is right! I LOVE this ROM. Starts up in no time at all and is the fastest ROM I have ever used. PLUS the battery life is BY FAR the best I've experienced. The only thing the ROM lacks for me is ezInput. But, it is available at http://www.touchprofreeware.com/2009...-keyboard.html. Oh, and long press end key function. Great job on the ROM. Thanks a million! I'm serious about the battery life.

Ive been using the ROM for about a week now and plan on sticking to it, I have definitely loved it. None of the issues ive had with a lot of the 6.5 roms on here, like slow keyboard response, fast batt loss, etc Ive had to deal with on this one so great job man! \\:D/

Now, I do agree about the checkmark thing but I dunno if making it smaller will make a difference cuz as ugly as it is, it is nice to be able to tap that corner and have it work the first time instead of tapping 10 times before u finally get it. I would also like the long press end key, just cuz ive always used that to end my data connection. anyone know of a cab that can be installed that will close the data conn automatically after a certain amount of time of inactivity?

As an aside, any suggestions on how I can change the clock and maybe some of the icons at the top? It's hard to see like for example when my data conn is open, or when its on vibrate, etc.. as far as the clock ive just never liked huge numbers on my phone, theyre bigger than my grandma's alarm clock lol... im not too familiar with how all this works together, are these things part of a theme? or, part of touchflo?
