Ok so the lower the page pool the better the battery life? I really like battery life and this rom is doing better than others I have tried.. Energy/Mightrom4/6 but it still drains like crazy.. 10% an hour or so without doing anything on it. Seems when it gets to 60% it stays there a long time..

Also, wondering if you are working on a cab for the "add appointment" bug?
Need that badly as I am a busy mofo..

One more thing. Windows media player 10 wont play my music. It gives me an error and says check the system files for error details,, or something like that. I just tried again and seleceted a different song.. It played.. So only some of my music plays in Windows Media Player.. But they play in Pockettunes and included Nitrogen. Do I need codecs or something?

are all your songs of the same format - mp3 wma etc. Check if the files that are not playing are the ones of a specific format. WMP does not play all formats. You could double check if the format you want to play is a checked option. I use nitrogen so I would have to double check.

As for the appointment issue, I will try to cab it up. It's pretty big, actually can't believe I failed to include it. But I definitely know what's the cause. Already working on an updated version and it's fixed. Hopefully tonight as I am currently at work.

Yeah they are the same format, ripped from the original disks. Weird thing is that out of all my albums, only 4 songs show up per artist.
I am sorry for bringing that up.. I am sure its not a rom issue.. just something on my end.

I have decided to keep this rom and stay here for a while.. With the thread being 20 or so pages, I can actually keep up with it. AWESOME!

Version 1.2 will be posted today. I removed most of the black theme, hoping to provide more space. Reverted to the goodsense dialer. Most importantly, fixed the appointment issue. Voice Command, touch options fixed, and I think I got rid of all duplicate icons. Everything seems to work in the rom - the way it should be.

Is there a way to save all my crap I have installed and customized so I dont have to start all over just to get the appointment fix? I have pimbackup but that only works for contacts/calllog/appointments/messages.

Also, any tips for getting the battery to last longer?, I mean it lasts longer than the other roms I have tried but still drains really quickly.

I woke up less than an hour ago,, browsed with skyfire for about 15 minutes and its already down to 65%..
Any advice would be appreciated.

You don't have to upgrade. I'm still working on it. You can use this to get the battery better. Just unzip the file and drop in the windows folder of the phone.

I somehow removed the "stocks" tab and I want to remove twitter and maybe facebook(hoping to get more battery life) But I cant for the life of me remember or find how I did it. I have CHT editor but cant find the option anywhere. Duh..

When I am connected to pc through windows mobile device center, I dont have internet. I might be wrong but I thought when the TP is connected to activesync/windowsmobiledevicecenter, it shared the pc's connection?

In the weather tab, My weather wont update. Hasnt since the 21st even though I click "update now" several times a day, it just wont update. I have tried with data and wifi, and as I said, I have no internet when connected to the pc so it doesnt work there either.

Edit,, Just threw that battery.dll in and did a soft reset.. Before the soft reset my battery was 78%, when it came back on it is now showing 90%.. lol cool.. I hope.

Edit 2,, I found how to remove tabs in the setting tab.

Edit 3,, I hope you arent playing a joke on me with the battery.dll.. lol Because it is still on 90%.

Edit 4,, I think I know whats with the .dll.. Is it the one that only shows 10% increments? or does this actually save battery life somehow?

Yes it the one that shows increments of 10. It works better than the 1% driver. That is how it was originally. I only put in because of a request. I wanted to hear the feedback to see if I should revert.

Sorry! No go on the .cab. Tried it but no good. I'm DL'ing the 1.2 anyway to flash so no biggie. Still, great work and keep it up. Glad someone is still cooking for TP users that are kinda 'stuck' with it. Alltel doesn't have any Pocket PCs available and the TP2 ain't coming it seems. Don't want a Blackberry, so I hope you keep on cooking these bad boys.
