Wow I'm pretty impressed with the speed of this latest 21901 build. It's really a pretty noticeable speed increase!

That's actually the one I tried.. the dialer came up with a scroll bar on the right hand side and it slid off the screen as I attempted to dial a number.

0416 6.5.5 generic, and sms is working. . . for now.

Hmm I've never seen that bug with that dialer, strange.
SMS works on all the various versions available. May be a tower issue in your area or something. I don't really know what else it could be.

Yeah, it was really weird, but I sent several text messages after flashing to 0409 on the 11th. so, definitely not a tower issue. That and all my "outgoing" messaged would show up in the new incomming text counter. I never got replies, and I just chalked it up to people being busy, until yesterday I got dog sick and sent several to the wife, which she never got.

I suppose it was just one of those things. And the suggestion of re-flashing, though I really didn't want to (for one, because it wipes out my call log-- thankfully the online log will suffice, this time), worked.

Help please. I just flashed to swinn's 6.5 ROM, looks great and fast, but I cannot use my Activesync. After going through the same configuration via connections, personal settings and DeviceID (done this many, many times on many, many ROMs) I connected my TP to the USB on my computer.

I get this message: Cannot open the connection "USB". The connection is no longer valid or does not exist. Select a different connection and try again.

While the error message makes english sense, I don't know where to begin to troubleshoot this...

I've never had any trouble with connecting USB and syncing the device with this rom or any other I've tried, so as far as troubleshooting I don't think I could help. You might try re-flashing or hard resetting and see if that helps.

just out of curiosity, is there another computer you can try activesync on? I've had ActiveSync drop out at random times. When you connect your phone, according to taskmanager on the phone is ActiveSync running?

But, yeah, there is much to be said for reflashing.

So, what I found out via trail and error is that, unlike most ROM where people let you to uncheck the box for enable faster data sync, but with this ROM I checked box and now I am sync'in away. Does everyone have the same setting for USB to PC?
