Man, if that doesn't work i am at a loss. How about quick GPS? uMake sure that is up to date but that is about it.

D8nke, I think that did it. I was looking for the location services thing but hadn't found it 'til you mentioned where it was.

Turning that one seems to have fixed it. Even my QuickGPS works now. I'll test out GPS functionality on GoogleMaps and get back to you.

I've forgotten that step myself in the past.

Also just an FYI...
-A Hard Reset (with Hardware Buttons) will not undo your GPS update
-Clear Storage (Found in under "Memory" in your System Settings) will undo your GPS update and you'll have to perform all of the update steps again

well i guess its time for another question. how do we get the wifi internet sharing to work with out vzw fones?

Thanks for posting these.. Its hard to find decent VZW roms... This one works great for mine right out the box...I just added S2U2 and its ready to go..

My TP doesn't have service anymore and I never used it to know how to configure it. Anyone else got any info?
