It is a little like my other one. With one exception....Very few bugs....Everything should work. And if it doesn't....Let me know:)

It doesn't have every cutting edge program. Because if I couldn't get it to work and work right I didn't put it in.
I wanted to put man manila 2.8 in....But, I think it is too slow and still has to many bugs. (My opinion though)

Looks nice.. I especially love the background wallpaper options... better than just about any rom I've tested in the last few days.

Although beings that I'm on alltel... I'm having issues with MMS ... I tried installing the alltel mms fix... and still no luck. I can send and recieve msgs.. but when I get a mms with a picture.. it tells me the attachment as been removed....

Otherwise everything else is looking great. But if you could help with the alltel issues.. lemme know!

Thanks. I did a flash dance to see if it would help... as with some other roms that has seemed to help with mms issues... but so far no go.

Edit: I finally got the mms working with a 4 step alltel mms fix... although... I do have quite a bit of lag trying to get into messages. It would hang before I did the fix... so I'm not sure if its the fix thats causing it. Also... on most sense 2.5 builds when you get a sms you tap on the preview of the message and it allows you to reply... I get no response by doing that... I have to actually go into all messages. Is this normal for the build or is there something awry with my set up?

Also... I keep getting the error: Cradle not found with quick gps.

Let me do a test on the mms issue and I'll get back with you on that. As far as quick GPS I noticed the same thing after activesync. It must be the sync GPS location option inside quick GPS. I will find a fix.

Thanks for taking the time to look into the mms issue. After going and updating the quick gps after the initial set up... its now not giving me that error, atleast so far.

I did notice that I'm able to change the background of the windows through set today background... as well as change the home background through the main settings for weather or animated. However I was wondering if you know how to change the other tab background or can at least hook up a cab that will allow that... I've tried a few and so far no go. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Again... thanks for this awesome rom.

Ok I am playing with the rom now. Seeing that this is Calk's kitchen I know that I am going to have a problem right off the bat: the battery. For some reason that 1% battery driver doesn't work for me because I use my phone a lot. Anyway it got me thinking of a way to fix this and I think I am on to something big:

I installed Fdc Task manager, ran it to stop dci battery. Then I deleted it from Windows\startup as well as deleted from MyDevice\program files. Then I snatched up the battery.dll from silence's kitchen and replaced the one in Windows. Then after a soft reset, I was happy to see that my battery wasn't dying so quickly. Hmmn, I wonder if my battery would last even longer with Psyki's battery.dll, maybe from his 6/29 rom. I think I used to get like 12hrs out that bad boy. My experiment continues... For anyone who is interested, here are the files I used, I think you'll be happy with the result:

I got rid of that QuickGPS error by installing sdkcerts cab then reinstalling Quick GPS. Worked after a soft-reset

Thanks for the help with the gps error... I was gonna do the battery.dll swap.. but I'm sort of fresh to dealing with the internal "os" structure and didn't know exactly where to copy the new one.

I however did see a boost in memory by removing the dci battery and querty memory... looks nice and was functional.. but I'm getting better performance without it.

Also.. Your signature about all your cabs... has got me wondering just what you have and how I could get my hands on em. It's not every day that I find another tp user with a good amount of cabs.

I see 2 colored bars on the top and bottom of the taskbar. I know the top is for battery. What's the bottom one for?

Wow just need to say, your ROM is EXTREMELY fast and smooth! I think the fastest and smoothest 2.5 ROM I've ever used!

Love the bg4all tabs! Will keep testing and post feedback/bugs!

Well the battery.dll should be dropped in the /Windows folder. I used Resco File Explorer to put it there but you can get there via Activesync, just select the explore button, select My Device and you will see the Windows folder.

As for my cabs, it's really not to boast but to share my overwhelming issue about needing a cab for everything, but I guess if there's no better way to install something then I shouldn't complain lol!

As for finding cabs, there is google, xda, threads here and freeware sites. Fortunately, we now have the comfort of getting freewares via Open Market which is installed in this rom. If there's anything that you looking for if I have it I'll share, but please don't ask for any commercial programs.

The top is dci battery... and the bottom is qwerty memory... so the bottom is showing you current memory usage I believe.

As for cabs... I've searched like a mother trucker all over.. google, bing, xda, here and so forth...

I'm not looking for any particular cabs... but I always like to try new things... I am however looking for either font cabs or a better tutorial to do my own fonts on Font Creator... I've checked out Godzson, Bullets, and any other post I could find regarding fonts on here and xda.... I'm surprised more people don't do them. I have tons of windows based fonts that I could really spruce things up with.. if I only knew better how to make them for tp.

Odd after I did what you suggested... I haven't had a problem at all. Of course I updated my quick gps right after I installed... so maybe that has something to do with it.. I'm not really sure.

I do not have cabs for fonts, but I've played with fonts a little bit. I do notice that for some windows based fonts to work properly, I would need the tahomabd.ttf & I'll rename the font I'd like to use to tahoma.ttf, then I would drop both of them in \Windows. Worked after a soft-reset. Again it only worked for some. Some fonts were either too big or too bold. My favorite is Candara.

The battery.dll swap has made my battery last longer - or at least settled my mind to think it is lol!. My battery goes down in 10% increments instead of 1% and I find that it takes longer for my to get down to 80% that how it was before. I find that my battery is lasting longer between charges.

I've been having issues with draining my battery.... then again... you know 3-4 roms a day prolly didn't help... I'm gonna do a batter flash tho when I finally make it to bed today lol.... been up all night.. yay me!

If that doesn't work... I'll def. slip the other battery.dll in..... if you happen to come across anything else that might help.. lemme know!

I actually prefer it as the letters seem to be larger and makes it easier to just user your thumbs or finger to text rather than the stylus.

Oh and the backspace is the arrorw with the x in it.. next to the P.

bg4all is already installed. Choose your wallpaper in HTC Settings -> Personalize -> Home Wallpaper -> Weather Wallpaper, and you should see the wallpaper on all tabs.

:) This is a nice feature that I haven't seen on some of the other 2.5 ROMs I've tried.

run fdc Task Manager then stop the s2u2 & iLock process. Then go to \Windows\Startup with Total Commander & delete it from that folder. You can also delete them from My Device\Program Files.
