ROMS UP DUDE!!! LOL... Many Many Updates , changes and fixes... will do full changelog later... for now though I SERIOUSLY recommend updating to 21914 if you're using ANY of my roms. ENJOY!!!

I had download your last com5 rom and loved it all excepted I couldnt get the picture mail to send I am with boost and I set the server to boost but it still a no go....was hoping that this newer rom would work but no go with it either but everything else is awesome and love it by far from all the other roms I have tried

on the other roms that I had tried they had the update PRL and update profile icon or taps but i didnt notice them in yours it seem to work when I could update those on some of the roms but didnt like the way the other things were on them....anyway awesome rom love it and i am hoping I can get the picture mail figured out then it would be perfect.

"EDIT" ok figured it out reading the forums...found what I had to do to get it working....thanks for the awesome rom again.

OK... Glad you got it working cause I was about to say... DUDE I'M on Boost and it works for me ... I do ALL my testing on boost (obviously), but default my ROM to Sprint. All you should have had to do to get MMS working is [ All Messages>Menu>MMS Options>Servers ] and change the default server to Boost. There was a ROM that I remember not being able to MMS with due to a reg error... but those issuse have been fixed a while ago. Anywayz Glad u like the ROM. Hows the funky fresh new batery logic treating u guys??

Yeah I tried the boost server option but it still gave me permenent error so I ran remove picturemail & Acrsoft cab soft reset and then ran the Sprint Acrsoft MMS cab soft reset then went to the sever and just changed the server to mm.myboostmobile.com then it worked like a charm....but like i said i love this rom and so far all is good

now on the lighter side its not a problem but its funny....when you sign on to facebook and then go to the home screen the small facebook icon covers the ST were it says START up at the top left hand corner and makes it say Fart which I think is a hoot...lol.

So you downgraded arcsoft.... ??? I dont see why you would have had too .... If you find yourself reflashing for any reason, try it again and let me know the exact error. I've spent QUITE a bit of time in the arcsoft reg. Actually what version did you rollback too... I was / am planning on looking into the old arcsoft 5.0.?.79 reg because if i remember correctly THAT version had MMS preview pictures. (You didnt have to push the pic icon.. well you did but the pic icon was a proper thumb of your message). Again though Arcsoft MMS version in this rom is 5.2.13.45. I built the reg MYSELF and it DOES NOT suffer from the WAP BUG!!! Yeah... on that note ... If you DO reflash try just changing the server name manually. But i know from experience if your server is set to sprint on boost you CAN SMS You cant send MMS and you will "recieve" MMS but not be able to view/download it. With what you've told me All you should have had to do was highlight Boost and tap "Set As Default" just double check to make sure the setting is in

On a lighter note for me... I am once again lookin for battery feedback..lol. I'm down to 2 batteries So I've decided to tackle the power issue head on. My 1800mah died and my stock batt went on trip So all I have now are 2 1500mah seidos. I know i use my phone HARD.. So feedback just plain HELPS =D

yeah I tried put it in manually also tried changing server name and server address and it still gave me permanent error and i used 5.2.1.22 and then put in http://mm.myboostmobile.com in the server address and left the server name at sprintMMSC and it worked fine...but i will reflash it so i can give you the exact error.....and so far with battery its at 81 after about two hours but havent used it very hard just some text messaging and have facebook running

Just installed the latest ROM (08/19) last night and so far so good. I like the looks and function of this ROM. Being new to the Freedom series of ROMs I have a few questions:
1 - New to Swype and I like it but it does weird things when addressing text and e-mails. Is there a trick to fixing this? I sometimes have to change to another keyboard just to address e-mails and texts.
2 - Couldn't run Cookie home editor from main screen menu button. Perhaps it's named incorrectly?
3 - Where is the best tutorial on Taskman? I'm new to this program also.
4 - Phone is setup for voice commands but it appears that "voicecmd" is missing.
5 - To get GMail to work I had to remove the port numbers that were defaulted on setup.
6 - For text messaging to work sending pictures I defaulted to "Sprint" server. Not sure what the postings about using "Boost" are about. Boost allowed pictures in but I could not send pictures out.

All minor stuff... thanks for the ROM!

This is my first time trying a freedom rom. Not sure about others but I am getting horrible battery life, had to put the phone on the charger 3 times today.

Hey Guys ... I promised the girlfriend that i wouldnt do ANY phone work for 3 days... So taking a small break.

@Tsperez. 1) I admit swype IS kinda funny entering names and email... It DOES add everything you enter manually into the XT9 dictionary so you can swype it the next time.... but I really try to use the contact picker

2) Known Minor issue... I could Probably install CHTE via cab during config to solve the issue... but I'd rather find and fix the reghook

3) LOL ... Xtask is one of the reasons i wrote the tutorial and I havent seen a tut for Xtask ANYWHERE, Guess I'm about due for a re-write

4) Yes ... And Yes. IDK i like MSVC.. I just dont USE it that much, left it out this time... I'll put it back once i get the battery under control.

5) EVERY TIME I say I'm going to look into that package to try to fix that issue i forget or wind up doing something else... Like right now im trying to get VOIP to work, But I WILL dig in that package and try to remove those port #'s

6) The "Boost" conversation was for those of us on BoostMobile with a Touch Pro (My TP is on with BoostMobile)

@flak ... OK i need to know 1, which battery u use (how many Mah) And 2. how long until it DIES with some representation of usage. Why? I'm 90% sure Im chasing down a misrepresentation issue. I tried a fix on this ROM but it seems to help on the LOW end of batt power. ie 20-0% drains MUCH slower than 60-40%. Since Root released his kitchen.. I'm thinking about stripping and reorganizing it to my preference... THAT would solve the batt issue for sure LOL.
