AAAWWWW , I want the new ROM way wont it start for me ? I tried it via SD card with no luck . What winzip was it packed with if anyone knows .

If you didnt unpack it with 7 Zip that could be your issue.

Does anyone have a problem adding favorites to the Peoples tab in 2.5. It seems after deleting those files in the registry I am having an issue adding new contacts....

Does anyone know how to get S2U2 to intercept the classic lock screen? I have the long press end key mapped to lock the device, but when I use it the classic lock screen comes up instead of s2u2. Going manually (start > lock) works correctly, I was just curious if this was a ROM or a S2U2 issue.

Yeah I tried that too and the CustomRUU will not run for some reason . Is there a way too pack it in a ZIP file ? If not then I'll stick with 2.1 ..

OK, I just want to be sure we're on the same page:
You've unpacked with 7Zip and it still wont run?
Did you try a fresh download? Did you run the RUU with your card out?
You could use the RUU from the last ROM you flashed-the 2.1 you're on. That'd work too. Just replace the .nbh file in that folder with the 2.5 ROM's .nbh and run THAT RUU.
IMO the 2.1 ROMS are obsolete not that we have full functioning Landscape in 2.5.

It's compatible with 7Zip. I've also used winrar before and not had a problem.
I dl'd 7Zip-a free dl-since it makes sense to me to use the same format. It's also what the Chef recommends.
No biggie for me.

Not speaking for the Chef btw, dunno why he uses it.

His ROM's kick arse so if he said I needed to wear a pink gorilla suit during the flash process I'd do that too.
