Start Total Commander then click on "\" to take you to your device's root directory. From there, click on the "\\" folder and you should see a folder marked "registry".

This is found by Googling Total Commander Registry Editor. It's the first link and is to an XDA forum.

Thanks... I admit that I did not search a lot for that, but I wanted to know what people were using...

OK... I looked into Total Commander Registry Editor. Is there a way to export the registry??. I looked through the menus and did not find that option.

I swear that I searched in Google before asking. I found some posts about it but they was related to the Windows version of Total Commander.

What I really want to do with all these registry questions is to edit the registry and also export the registry to be able to compare it after I made some changes to see what was changed exactly. I want to automate my configurations with Sashimi. A lot of the settings are stored in the registry.

I begun playing with Sashimi yesterday night and how easy it will be to flash when I will have everything in it...

Now you know... Any suggestions appreciated.

i have. it says voicecmd.exe cannot be open. either it cannot be openned or not trusted. if this keeps up to re install.

There is also a program called reStart you can use. That one I believe is cooked in too... depending on the ROM. Otherwise you can easily find it and download it. I have attached the file to this response.

Thanks, that did the trick with moving the program into the right folder. Now, any thougts on how I can change the icon? I installed the mobile IMDB cab and the default icon I got is the crappy little white file looking one with the blue across the top.

EDIT: Nevermind. Found how to do it with reStart. It's amazing what you can do when you just start mashing buttons

Taskmanager 3.1 has the best registry editor IMO.
Import/Export and full editing ability.

Ive tried 2 custom ROMS now (energy and SKIROM, currently using SKI) and in both instances when I power up my phone (or reset the interface) the weather and time location defaults back to Rose Garden Place Ill. Now, when I go into the weather tab to remove locations, my preferred location (Phoenix) is there, but this Rose Garden one isnt, so I cant seem to remove it. But, on the main weather page, my default location, Phoenix, is 2/2, with Rose Garden Place being 1/2. It wont go away lol. And again this happened on the energy ROM too.

Any ideas?

edit: I have also updated my GPS
