Sorry, what I shared with what happened to my phone after flashing this rom wasn't meant to offend. If I am to write only bubblegum reviews and all is well with anything I try , let me know and I'll keep quiet when something doesn't go well......even if 15,002 other people have had success.<<<meant in good, sarcastic humor.

I may have to apologize concerning the part of it sending a blank text meaage to everyone in my contact book. I loaded NRG's rom and it happened once.

I was running Epi Rom for quite awhile before I tried RootRom. I ALWAYS flash a stock rom (currently using v2.01.651.6), load it all the way and then hard reset prior to flashing a cooked one. After flashing the cooked rom I flash a different radio since the stock flashes it's own and then hard reset. I'm not certain what could cause the message thing to happen if I flash this way, but it did. Oh, unless BSOD means Black Screen of Death and not Blue, my phone was unresponsive after being on charge the night of flashing RootRom.

If someone can shed some light for me, I wouldn't mind trying this rom again =)

Just thought I'd stop in and tell y'all I miss you guys. Haven't found a TP2 ROM that I want to flash to yet or a TP2 subforum that I'm as comfortable with as I was with this one. :-(

Hey root im on your latest darkroot rom and no matter how i set my alarms it keeps repeating every 10 minutes any way to fix this i have every alarm set to go off once but it just keeps repeating unless i soft reset it then that usually does the trick not a big deal just a little annoying.

yea its happened to me for the majority of the roms i just always forgot to say something. neone have ne thoughts?

Are you referring to the 15 minutes before alert for like meetings or appointments? If so I have noticed I have to hit the button on the left sometimes and sometimes I have to hit the button on the right to get rid of the every 5 or 10 minute reminder.

I haven't always had a problem with receiving the videos it normally be sending them but this time can't receive or send.

That was as major plus for me was that he MMS system was always set up already and that I could receive Videos.

Not saying I am mad about not being able to receive or send videos but just wish i could get this thing figured out once in for all.

Hey Dave what's the hold up on the flashing man? I know that there probably isn't any roms over there as GREAT as ROOT's Rom :headbang: but there should be at least one that comes half way close LOL.

I know Root had mention that he is working on a TP2 rom at one point so I am procrassinating on getting me one of those TP2's.

I usually don't use the wake up alarm I think I used it once since 4/18 but I don't remember having problems with it I can do a little testing for you.

I will post my findings.

Just to be clear you are getting the pop up that is in the screenshot correct?

If yes first thing is when you go to set the time for the alarm make sure that the repeat option is not selected in that setting alarm screen, and second is have you tried both of the buttons at the bottom on the screen shots?
