OK.. The DecoRootRom doesn't have the Dusk dialer or KeyBoard.
I may just add it to the Special roms instead of replacing RootRom.
That should make everyone happy. LOL

sweet! thanks

Works great on Dark root/Carbon root so it should on rootROM as well.
It's not attached because it's usually posted via link, like this:

For anyone wanting to change default browsers...
I tried doing it with registry settings but it seems not possible to change clicked links for many browsers.

I did some research because I thought it could be done with Mort Script.
Found that was the case.

Here are the links and a screen shot.

Script
http://sourceforge.net/projects/jzsmartmort/files/

GUI for Script
http://www.sto-helit.de/index.php?mo...=view&entry=57

http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...1&d=1228552322

If you want to add Opera 10 to the list you will need to down load it from the files section or from Opera website.
The way it is cooked in doesn't show up in the Mort screen.

These ROMs are awesome - with all the SMS and MMS issues I was having on Energy I'm so glad you finally cooked in a good working landscape version!

I'm having some weird trouble with tactile feedback - I would like it to remain enabled (as opposed to some others on the forum here ;) ):
On RedRum (03082010 version - sweet btw) - it worked great until I installed my basic settings (bing, galarm 2.1.2, & MS Voice Command 1.6.28008). I'm not sure where it got hosed up but it was somewhere in there... I could turn on vibrate for the hard buttons, but nothing for the screen even though the settings said it was on.

On DarkRoot (03082009? version) - it was turned off, but turning it on didn't do anything. I was restoring with PIMBackup (it crashed at the end when trying to restore shortcuts) and suddenly it was working. Unfortunately the interface was sluggish due to the crash, so I rebooted and of course it wasn't working again after reboot. I tried doing the PIMBackup thing again, but it didn't work twice, so I don't know what happened to temporarily enable it. Same deal, hard buttons appear to vibrate fine, but not for the screen.

Sorry if I missed this somewhere above.

Thanks again for such great ROMs!

Volume settings can play with the feedback.
I will see what I can do here to tweak it some more.

Glad you like the roms. :)

I too have had issues where the tactile feedback would mysteriously stop working. What I found worked everytime was to remove the stylus and then put it back. I know that by default its set to turn off the vibration if the stylus is out... maybe thats a little out of whack.

NEW Update for DecoRoot coming later today.

Changed taskbars. And as our friend Winmo says the drop downs don't really work well anyway on 6.5.x so.... This taskbar has no drop downs.
Task manager ( Arcswitch ) set to the left of the taskbar.
Check notifications via their app.

Thanks Fiya - Der! I didn't even know there was a setting to turn it off when the stylus was out (that was my problem - although I had to take it out and put it back a few times to get it working again)! Is that a Reg entry? Can we add that to the settings menu somehow (where IS that thread)?

Thanks now I know Root! I checked it out, if on "silent" then feedback doesn't work at all, if on "vibrate" or higher it seems to work - maybe this is actually correct behavior? Feedback doesn't seem to work on the lock screen either, but again maybe this is actually correct behavior. Or maybe more candidates for the settings menu?

Oh, I noticed a couple weird things:
The "back" button does weird things when you're in the start menu - sometimes it says "OK" (which goes back to the prior menu if you're in a folder) and sometimes it shows the windows logo - which executes S2U2. Neither of those seem to match the icons I remember from EnergyROM.
The "show/hide" keyboard button on the dialer slightly overlaps the contacts and menu button.

DEFINATELY NOT DEALBREAKERS! I'm just happy this ROM is smooth and SMS/MMS works.

BTW - do you plan to share your kitchen? Thanks again!
