No real mms on epic?

I got an epic for my sister , my question is there real mms like the evo. Somebody sended me a message with animation and it played fine on my evo so i sended to my sisters epic and it just show the first frame of the animation.. help
She wants to return the phone lol help please

Well if you save it to the sd card it should work..but it might have something to do with the sms app..have you tried getting another sms app to see if it helps? Handcent SMS is a very popular one.
