Ahm...verizon is going to cost you more anyways..even with the $10 fee...

yeah but vzw has better phones and a better network.

if the price gets much closer the benefits of vzw will outweigh the cost.

Ok now obviously you are relatively happy with sprint being that you have been with them for 11 years but going to verizon over $10? What comparable verizon plan can you get for $62 a month? Not only that but verizon nickle and dime the hell out of their customers.

I don't think that's the point. We are paying $10 for something that we are not getting. Maybe you live in an area where 4g is active but if you were not I don't think you'd sing the same tune. Yes, Sprint is still cheaper but why do we have to pay for something that we do not have. They can't say, "well.. even if we charge you an extra $10 for nothing we are still cheaper than everyone else". That doesn't justify the charge. Yes Sprint is cheap and has great service, we love Sprint. But why are you charging us for nothing?

It's just the fact that the $10 dollars is being charged for no reason. We don't have acess to 4g, why should we pay for it? Now I've heard somewhere else that the $10 charge gives you access to a premium 3g service that runs on a different line than the current 3g making it faster but Sprint has never stated that. I would kinda be okay with that but God knows when some places will get 4g... paying $10 a month for years and years for nothing is a bit much.

I understand y they charge it even if its not in your area.

Its because if u just so happen to goto a place or move there u dont get the extra 4g for free.

Thats my logic.

so you rather pay $90 (for 450 mins + 5GB data) on verizon for what you get on sprint? Verizon is also about to implement a data plan like ATT did last month and verizon just reported, it's droid x owners use 5x more data than regular phone user. i guess it wasn't total bs when sprint said, it's charging $10 more for the phone because people will use more data on it.

I guess. I mean like you said it's still cheaper. And I love Sprint so I'm not leaving anyway but if you don't have 4g in your area how would you use more data, what if you don't travel. Anyway I'm still going to pay it so I guess it doesn't matter.
