Can some one help me please!!! Every time I try to install this rom from my storage card It will boot to htc screen and then just go blank. What am I doing wrong?

Just to let you know I am great with Windows Mobile flashing this is a lot harder!

Try going to Settings>Applications>Manage applications and find HTCSense. Then click there and clear the Catche/Data

Worked for me when I was having those issues.

Make sure you wipe the phone before flashing

Isnt Wifi Tether preloaded into this rom?? I cant find it anywhere right after flashing.. I've tried redownloading the zip and reflashing as well.. Cannot find Wifi Tether on it at all.. Can i get a confirmation that Wifi tether is included already? or not? Thanks!

hey,
i tried asking in the other fresh roms thread and didnt get a response. this thread seems to be more lively.

ive had this problem with all fresh roms ive tried since discovering it. Anything that tries to use the gps restarts the phone; maps, weatherbug, navigation, and even googles homepage from time to time. HTC weather and weather channel app runs fine, but every other gps user fails.

Any help? i need maps for work!

I had this same issue. Ended up wiping everything twice, installed ROM, wiped again, installed ROM....then it worked like a charm. No clue what was going on but it's running perfectly now :-)

I had an issue where WiFi tether wasn't showing up. Leading up to that I had wiped everything. Rather than rewiping I just reflashed over with same zip. Everything showed up.

There is an app called "Menu Unlock *Root Users Only*" for .99 in the marketplace. Has pretty good reviews if interested.

It is included and I had the same issue flashing this ROM on a friends Hero the other day. If you've already wiped everything before applying this ROM try flashing the ROM again. Pretty sure that's how I got my friends to work. If you didn't wipe everything first do that and then flash. Good luck.
