You must follow his instructions precisely. You probably did brick your phone.

Re: [Radio] Baseband 2.41.04.02.03 | For Fresh Rom 2.0b

I have a question about this radio. If I flash it and then later decide to try one of the other 2.1 based roms such as DC or the legend based roms do I need to flash it to the .02 radio or will this one work fine?

You are getting 2-3 bars in comparison to how many before? "Bars" aren't really an accurate measurement of service available BTW. As far as battery life, make sure your phone is actually sleeping and not being stopped by another application. Check the awake time, put it to sleep for a few minutes and check again, let us know what it says.

You can try the text message fix and see if it helps. Install handcent or Chomp, disable your stock messaging app, enable the other one and see if that helps. I don't know if it is still an issue, but I know the stock app was keeping the phone awake a lot. Could try it just to see.

Re: [Radio] Baseband 2.41.04.02.03 | For Fresh Rom 2.0b

that was the first thing i did even when i was fresh 1.1 i went right to handcent due to the issues with the stock messaging .. It just seemed i had much better battery life before i went to 2.0 ..and im still a lil curious as to good of a cell signal i have right now since im only showing 1-2 bars .. i know u said that doesn't really measure my signal strength .. when i go into network its says im at -83 - 85 dbm ..just curious to what others are getting
