Wow Im lucky to get 8 hours doing that. I must not be doing something right. I will say I have some talk time on the phone 2 at least 2 hours so maybe that is why

You using swype Athlet1c? I installed it and noticed with a couple calls and sending 50-100 texts, my battery would by at 40-50% by 6pm (off the charger around 10 am). I just un-installed... pretty sure that's my problem.

I used that and Shapewriter initially but uninstalled as well.

Maybe that is why. I do receive several calls. I have also tested without much Phone usage and it wasn't that great. I will have to get around another hero and compare from there. Also I have a brand new Touch Pro 2 in the box I should just try that battery

Im having great battery performance with TTG, Gumbo Kernal and SetCPU.. I was getting force closes on some apps with 'ondemand' set to 245\528 but it worked at 245\480 with no issues... Since I upgraded to SetCPU 1.46 its running perfect @ 245\528.. Ive been busy at work so my usage had been kind of light but at the end of the day im still sitting on 50% + battery.

Thanks for the information. I probably use mine fairly heavy phone wise I guess

Installed new kernel and setCPU and it is truly a different phone. Thanks to everyone who donate their time and efforts to PPCG to make things like this possible and EASY for the rest of us!
