Its not a huge deal being that battery life seems to last longer but it just feels like where it would take me an hour to be fully charged, its taking me like an hour and a half or more.

Im gonna flash TTG rom and install the kernel and do some testing with different roms.

I have noticed if using profiles on SetCPU my battery dies 3 times as fast. If I turn em off it lasts all day easy.

Now that you mention it, i think things did run more smoothly before i did profiles. I think im gonna go back and turn them off. Thanks.

Ya me too..soon as i installed setcpu and messed around with it.. my batt life sank.. unistalled it.. and now im back to great batt life with the kernel. Just to be sure.. I did a nandroid restore then re-installed fresh.. then installed the kernel..then setcpu.. same results.. so im gonna hold off on the setcpu thingy.. since my hero works great. and alot faster with the kernal minus setcpu..

Well after removing profiles, but still using setcpu ondemand, it seems to charge a bit better. Ill keep testing. I did flash TTG too. I doubt the rom was the issue though.

I've had fair results from:

524 Max/245 Min
OnDemand
Toggled Profile
-only checked the temp option.

But since I'm near a charger 80% of the time, I use performance without fear.

i have been on ttg so far it it seems to run ok.as far as battery life i cant tell. i hear of people going for almost a whole day with reserve life what do most consider great battery and how are you using it . i want a sample so i can too test it at that method left where as my unit has always needed a charge.

I would think with moderate use you should get close to 16+ hours. On a full charge i can play a game for a couple of hours, send close to 400 texts and do a bit of surfing with that. Light use, I can last 24+ hours. IE. 400 texts, no games and some surfing. Of course i sleep during about 8 hours of that time so it is in standby. I just switched back to Fresh today but I was running Gumbo rom + Gumbo kernel with the above things on it. With setcpu I run ondemand 245 min 528 max. I was running with profiles but have since turned them off because it appears it was slowing down my charge time. Ill see how fresh goes with the kernel.

Back to life back to the battery hahah. My battery is doing great with no profiles running. Setcpu is a monster. 528 and 245.
