I'm actually ok with rooted stock right now, but I wish I could remove some of the bloatware included without the recovery image.

Its definitely a lot faster than stock?

Anyway, just tried removing 'Stocks' with his kitchen and it was still there after it rebooted.

I dont know if you have to have the recovery image to remove the stock programs. As long as you are rooted, you should be able to remove.

I'm kind of interested in this rom, but I'm a hesitant. If I have wifi 1.70 pre installed and flash this rom, will it uninstall that and install 1.60 final?

I guess I still don't really understand the process. Just came from winmo a couple weeks ago.

I am rooted however (had to have wifi tethering).
