I've read about people flashing custom to custom without wiping, but I think in some directions I've read that you should wipe first (sounds gross).

I updated to TTG from rooted stock with no wipe beforehand, and it applied flawlessly. Everything was fine, functional, and intact when it finished.

(and btw, 'wipe first' isn't gross -- that title is reserved for when you 'do not wipe first')

am i the only one that is getting for closes..for example adroid phone app had a force close..ad free had a force close..

also i am coming from the previous version of this ROM

could some one point me to the instructions on loading this ROM on my hero ? it is rooted ( did the one click root using the pre-kitchen but did not do flash 1.1 )

Sorry my knowlage of the android is almost none ..i come form the life of TP ( winmo) world ...and im very very happy so far ....

This Rom is working great !

The only themes you should be installing are the ones in post 1 link to my mediafire account. The ratcom themes are for gsm heros.

installed last night after rooting

i have to say its 100% faster than the default rom i installed the black expresso theme with clear lock ! win
