Re: [6-21-11][ROM] gingerbread-evo-deck [1.2][2.3.4 Stable]

Been using this ROM for a month now and recently upgraded to the latest version, but I'm unable to get a 4G signal. I have flashed the combo and also just the Wimax radio and still have yet to connect to 4G. I was reading that you should update the Profile after installing, but I do not have an option to do ANY system updates.

Unfortunately, the only way to update your profile is using a Sense based rom. Ive had to do it a couple times, kind of a pain, but should fix your issue... Do a nandroid backup of your current deck rom setup and flash a sense rom. Any for the evo will do. Then you can go into the android settings and update your profile. After that is done, you can then go back to nandroid and perform a restore. That should do it :occasion5:

Why don't folks just go back to v1.0?

Profile. PRL can be done with a nand flash :violent2:

I have been on Deck's Roms since he started releasing them. I have never updated my profile. You profile either is or it ain't. As far as PRL, that is so over rated. It is simply a list of roaming stations and I have never bothered to go back to a Sense rom to get them.
But I have 4G, for what it is worth and have never has a problem with GPS or anything else.

Good lucj updating your PRL with a Nand flash...
