I figured it out! It was still using the data from Titanium backup. This time I went in to Titanium backup and wiped data, did an un-install, and then installed the deskclock apk and all works well now.

Dunno about the notification sound for texts, but I had the same problem with the screen not turning on when hitting the power button. What I saw was that the screen was on, but with almost no backlight. So I stopped using automatic brightness and it solved my problem. Hopefully this helps.

i've never had any issues with the alarm application with any of decks roms...with 1.2d...i get fc's for trying to edit the time....

with the first install of v1.2d i didn't do a full wipe, but after the alarm FC's, i then i did a full wipe etc...clean install...FC's were still present for editing alarm time...i'm going back to v1.2c. did not see any improvements with v1.2d. besides i guess the blocking of 6019 texts?

Great work as usual. 2 minor things;
1. Is there a way to see groups I've setup in my contact list?
2. Does anyone know how to install Swype?

1.) click menu, goto view sources or whatever its called. (sorry restoring phone right now)
2.) google swype, and sign up for swype beta. they will email you download link to your registered swype account.
