whe I posted yesterday my bat usage was:
cell standby: 39%
phone idle 31%
display 15% (I have auto brightness checked)
wifi 13%
dolphin browser mini 3%

however befroe my phone died I looked at batt usage.. and android system had appeared using 23%.... seems odd how it wasn't listed for several hours then all of a sudden it showed up. I did install the radio package on XDA and the GPS fix.

The fix takes at least two days to settle in, after that Android sys. should disappear completely.

2 days? Really? that seems a little odd to me...I can't think of any sort of computer update that takes 2 days to settle in once applied.....but I'll admit I know WAY more about computers then I do smartphones....I'll wait it out and see. thanks for the info

Near the end of the first post at XDA, it states you might have to flash the fix 2 or 3 times for it to "take." Doesn't make sense to me, but I would try that if you are not seeing improvement. There is also a modified step if it doesn't work after the second attempt. You might also try one of the modified GPS drivers in the post.

Hope this works for you because I believe Deck's rom is the absolute best out there. Great battery life is the icing on the cake.

Love the rom!!
Is there a language pack that I can install? Spanish would be nice to have.

Anyone having the problem when you try to add an app or move one on the home screen it just disappears? And if you try to move a widget it just goes right back to where it was.

Posted this over at XDA as well - just covering all bases :)

Need a little advice...

This rom seems to 'grow' all by itself. When I first flashed I had 287MB free storage after installing all my apps. The next day it was at 237MB with no additional apps installed. The next day 214MB. Today I installed a Craigslist app and an eBay app and am currently sitting at 186MB free. :???:

I have a 16GB class 2 sd card installed with the partition set to ext3. Several of the apps have successfully installed to the SD card (including the Craigslist and eBay apps) yet it keeps dropping.

I have CacheCleaner NG installed and use it daily. It will usually find and clear about 3-4MB.

I have rebooted to Recovery and cleared Cache and Dalvik (which also clears the ext3) but that doesn't seem to yield any additional space.

What's going on and can it be solved? At this rate I'll be 'out' of storage room in a couple days :(

Reporting good results with SavagedZen 2.2.1 CFS HAVS using SavagedZen governor. 4G signal has been strong and consistant, GPS is fine, Wifi works fine. At idle battery takes around 50mins to drop a percentage.
