I haven't had any problems as of late, but you can always use Dual Mount SD and that will prevent that issue regardless. Good Luck.

still had a problem with GPS today. i did the clearx yesterday. today i opened Waze and no gps. shut it off/turned it on and instant lock. odd....

on another note i still cant use custom ringtones. it constantly resets to a factory tone. ive searched all the threads and i havent seen anything. any ideas?

use go sms or handcent. they both let you change ringtones per individual using your own mp3s etc no matter where they are (sd card etc) I am using go sms because it has a good popup on sms and themes etc, but looking over the featurelist of handcent I might have to give it a whirl. Note when using either of these turn off the system message notifications.

i use gosms. i meant for the default ringtone. ill look and see if it helps. i tried handcent in the past but it used to slow down my phone alot.

Oh cool. Yeah i like go sms alot. Maybe i'll stick with it if handcent slows down the phone. It does what I need/want it to do. The extra features of handcent aren't necessary.

Check out the flashable drivers this user tweeked and posted over in the xda thread. I haven't been able to test them extensively yet, but I'm definitely getting a better lock so far.

My GPS kept losing lock, fixed now with these drivers. Maybe Deck could implement them for the next release.

I've used Handcent since my Hero and I don't use anything else. I love the features and capabilities. I haven't had any problems with it slowing my phone down, but each phone is different in there own quirky way
