• Download Warm TwoPointTwo RLS 5 (Mirror 1) (Mirror 2) - [MD5sum: ba1cc1aed1d8161e3429909470bd7eb4]
  As this ROM now uses the latest official HTC Kernel (#15) you MUST update your Radio/Wimax. I recommend Calkulin's combo update which is available here or via direct download here.
  
  Installation Instructions:
  1. Download Rom and Radio/Wimax updates and place in the root of SDCard.
  2. Reboot into Recovery.
  3. Perform Nandroid backup
  4. Minimally wipe dalvik and cache. For optimal experience, perform full wipe (data/dalvik/cache).
  5. Flash the rom first.
  6. Then the radio/wimax update. While the radios are flashing you'll see a little green arrow phone icon for a bit afterwords, Wait on this. You will then automatically be taken back to recovery.
  7. Once back in recovery, reboot.
  8. Enjoy :)

• Q: I've applied the transparent titlebar mod and am running Launcher Pro but the titlebar isn't transparent?
  A: At this time, this is currently a limitation of Launcher Pro.

• Q: What's the best kernel?
  A: As ever device is built differently with different thresholds for undervolting the best option is to try each one with your phone. What may work well for one persons phone, may not be ideal for yours. You can start with the recommended kernels listed in post #1.

• Q: How come there are no addons or themes available in WarmUpdater?
  A: You first must configure an Addon/Theme server. Do this by going to: menu | configuration | Addon/Theme Update Settings | Manage Addon/Theme Servers | Menu | Update Featured Addon/Theme Servers" Then check for Addons and themes and there should be a list presented.

• Q: Sometimes after I flash a new rom my Market downloads stall. Is there a fix?
  A: Please see this.

• Q: When I apply an update through WarmUpdater, occasionally recovery doesn't apply the update and I get a screen with an exclamation mark
  A: Clockwork Recovery has been tested to not be as consistent as Amon_RA's Recovery. At this time I recommend and use Amon_Ra's 1.8 recovery which can be installed through RomManager or downloaded and installed manually from Amon_RA's thread.

• Q: How do I install your Swype theme?
  A: The method documented here has proven to have repeatable results. A video by transitoyspace is also available here.

• Q: How do I enable and configure APPS2SD?
  A: Use this well documented method here.

my favorite rom and current for the forseeable future... :notworthy:

Notes:

Big fan of Sense and the glass theme was just icing on the cake (the bottom tray has a WP7 ring to it)

Screen animations look great IMO, may get annoying from time to time but not enougn for me to turn them off..

went back to king#9 kernel immediately after testing out #11... #9 is noticably faster and more fluid in performance, plus it averages 300-350 higher quadrant score than #11 (maybe #11 is built more for battery?)

fonts looked awesome at first but not practical throughout the whole OS (web, email, sms, etc.) so i went stock

BUGS NOTICED:

Sprint hotspot not connecting: tried multiple times and the laptop displays that although it connects to the hotspot, it has no web connection where wifitether works flawless (bummed since i wanted to activate the hotspot with a flick of a switch in my homescreen...)

tried to do a hot restart, and after the boot animation, it displayed "process System not responding" and hangs there, had to do a battery pull...

Best ROM I have ever used by a long shot. Thanks for all the hardwork Myn. Glad to see you here on PPCGeeks too :-)

Sprint hot spot does work.. Before starting the hotspot u need to set the allowed users. Its a setting on the botton when u start the hotspot, once in their click on the top selection and from their when u conneect to a comp or something u need to give it permission, just like the wireless tethrd access control..

You flash the theme which includes launcherpro. Be sure to uninstall lpro if you have it installed previously. Also, swype is not included in the Rom.

WOW, I must say that this rom is really amazing. Been following the thread and a few others over at xda for a while but I never bothored to flash it until today, since I am quite bored as hell. This is one beautiful rom and if anyone else is itching to try something different, this is rom is definitely the way to go. Great work, and I like the transition animations.

First thing I would do is install quick boot from the market. This will give you immediate access to recovery which is where you need to be to flash.

1. Save the rom (zip)on your storage card from post one. do not extract it just save the zipped file on the root of the storage card.
2. Perform a nand backup in recovery (Quick boot and select recovery)if you would like to keep your current rom, settings, etc saved in case you want to go back.
3. Enter recovery(Quick boot), select wipe and wipe data, cache and dalvik (data will start you from scratch but is usually recommended for a clean error free flash). you can sometimes bypass wiping data if you are going from one version of a custom rom to another. for example flashing from myn1 to myn2 but other times a full wipe is required and usually the chef will mention this.
4. Select "flash zip from sdcard: and find myn-warmtwopointtwo rom in the list. Flash away.

rom is running very nicely.

one thing though, this lock screen is butt ugly, can we change it to something like vanilla without issues?

I unplugged my phone after charging all night and got off of a 20 minute call. My phone is now at 78% charge. Not very good.

yea it happens usually when you just installed this rom or any new one.
keep using it for a while it should fix that.

haha i kinda agree with you bro.
i was using a different lock its called GOTO i think.
But had to unistalled it cuz i installed launcher pro.

But yea if somebody can share a good lock that goes good with this rom please share it :laughing6:

Yes you need to do some charging cycles .

the battery should last longer after you use it for a while. Give it maybe 2 days so it can get confortable with the rom.

Btw what kernel are you using?

I'm using KK #11. I didn't realize you had to cycle the battery in between roms.

one thing i just noticed was the rom got real slow and choppy. i restarted the evo and noticed it turned off bluetooth for some odd reason.. i'm using kingx9, should i be using 11? or if there is a way, can i revert back to stock? if so can someone supply the latest stock kernel?

If you want to go back, why not simply wipe cache and dalvik (Do not wipe factory settings) and reinstall the original ROM? Works for me.

I would redownload a fresh copy of the rom, wipe , and reinstall it again!.

That happens in some roms also last night i was trying to flash another rom. It didnt let me go to recovery it was a pain in the a**. This has happen to me 2 timea not with this rom tho. But it happens to anybody make sure u try to go to recovery manually if it doesnt work. Try amon ra recovery process its at the bottom of the rom manager. Try to do nandroid first and install another rom. And then try to install the new rom you want to use.
