I was shock to! To my surprise no one this forum has reacted or respond!?! :angry7: I had post the information in lite of informing everyone but I guess no one has been here in a while and figuring that Myn will post the update...but it's not an update from RLS5 as I stated from the previous post!

And this ROM blows RLS 5 completely AWAY in terms of performance in every which way (with the exception of 4G of course lol)

Faster, lighter, more durable energy-wise! The Boot animation alone lets you know that Myn brought his A game to this ROM!

Great looking rom, seems to be running nice and smoothly. Love the new UI look. One problem I am having is the flash player is not working correctly. Flash pages are taking a long time to load (/w 4G, WiFI, or 3G), if they load @ all. What can I do? Thanks- Josh

*Actually it appears loading webpages in general is not working, most websites it will get %50-%70 and hang/stop. Should I be using a different browser (this is happening on my wifes evo as well).

download AdFree from the Market, run it and hit "Revert". the problem is with an outdated hosts file in the ROM. afterwards, you can also use AdFree to download the newest hosts file and continue blocking ads.

Downloads:


  • As this ROM now uses the latest official HTC Kernel (#15) you MUST update your Radio/Wimax. I recommend Calkulin's combo update which is available here or via direct download here.


    Installation Instructions:
    1. Download Rom and Radio/Wimax updates and place in the root of SDCard.
    2. Reboot into Recovery.
    3. Perform Nandroid backup
    4. Minimally wipe dalvik and cache. For optimal experience, perform full wipe (data/dalvik/cache).
    5. Flash the rom first.
    6. Then the radio/wimax update. While the radios are flashing you'll see a little green arrow phone icon for a bit afterwords, Wait on this. You will then automatically be taken back to recovery.
    7. Once back in recovery, reboot.
    8. Enjoy :)

Can i use Hulu on my rooted custom rom without installing this ROM??

I don't see why it shouldn't work, go ahead and try it. (nandroid backup before installing!)

After flashing over to this rom should i use titanium for a app+data user restore or should i just do it for my apps???Was wondering since because if im on 2.2 then went to 2.3 will i have compatabilty issues with the user data backup from my 2.2??

i can't get 4G with this rom. any idea why? It's searching for the 4G service whenever i turn it on but that's as far as it will go....

any help would be much appreciated!

did you flash a new radio..have you tried a differnet rom

Actually if you cant find hulu just a heads up use myns warm updater and download a hacked version of it works perfectly just don't upgrade your flash to the newest one or it will revert back hope that helps

i saw on XDA that he is listed as one of the developers for Windows7 android. i know with him on it the rom will be sick! but this is by far still my fav rom.

ok 4g is defenantly broken! first it loads like im on 3g or less and then it stays on for about 2-3 minutes and stops and says attena is on but normally i had all 4g bars on stock rom or sprint lovers rom. i flashed the combo and done the ad free but nothing. i read through all the posts and im not the only 1 having this problem and i didnt see a clear fix to this. Can i just flash the regular wimax pri radio i had before for this rom?

Download WiMAX Key Checker from the market. Joeykrim made it. See if you have your keys. If not, I hope you have a nandroid backup of Wimax to restore... as far as I know the only cure if they are missing is to replace the phone.

I am sure you will but he is working on a synergy rom which is major the best of both worlds type thing it is not in beta stage yet but over in his thread a lot of the peoples are testing and saying it is one of the best hybrid roms out there so we shall see they said the nightly6/3 is already considered a daily driver so hope for the best just want to see what the synergy team comes up with it is myn virus and two other devs so it is going to be a monster from what I have read

Question? With this ROM, half of my contacts numbers begin with a +, which doesn't allow me to call them or text. The other half are perfectly fine and I can call with no problems. When I try and edit the plus sign, it is not there, only when I call.

Has anyone encountered this or know of a fix.

Go to menu,settings,call, plus code dialing. Make sure the box for North America Dialing is checked.....ur done from there.

Thanks, but there isn't that option in the call settings?

EDIT: Actually I found it, but it just stays grey with the current country and won't allow me to pick anything?!

What up riley!! I tried the new Synergy. Not bad at all. It still needs some work before it gets released though. The guys are doing a badass job on that ROM though. I went bact to the GB update though because I was having nasty battery drain issues. I can't wait for the final product though, hopefully not too far off!

As far as battery issues you are going to have it on alot of roms until they release the kernel code and 6/14 is a beast...

Maybe you could also answer these couple questions as well.

Is there anyway to update to the new swype keyboard and get rid of the current (old) one? I was using the new update on Fresh Evo Gingerbread and I love how the people over at swype fixed many of the problems and now you can permanently deleted words from the library and it doesn't automatically include facebook names in the dictionary library.

Not sure to be honest on both issues if they relate to rls5 froyo. Honestly your best bet is to ask Myn via pm at xda or in that particular thread. There are a ton of Myn regulars in the xda thread and I'm confident somebody has run across your 2 needs and they will respond quickly. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Btw, regarding swype, have you tried to install the new swype apk on rls5? Usually it asks if you would like to overwrite previous version which should work. Just a thought.

I found this fix from a user over at XDA... WORKS PREFECTLY!!!

Choose delete area/country code, find by numbers 11 digits long and numbers starting with +1. Fix all. -----
