Now I know that there are alot of mix feelings with task killers but I can tell you for sure that it works for me, no placebo effect. I tested this recently based on several factors on how I use my phone putting into consideration signal strength, location etc... Now I know there is no exact way to tell how much battery I saved but it definitely works for me. I use atk but I don't get all OCD with trying to kill tasks every two minutes. The only time I kill a task is when I am browsing the internet for the most part. During my tests it seems like my battery would drain alot faster with my browser running in the background after I just came from surfing the web. Edit: I am running the stock kernel by the way Last edited by themuffinman; 10-22-2010 at 01:45 PM. |
