For the market issues...
Always try to run the fix permissions script that comes with rom manager... if u not using rom manager u can just extract that script from the apk and run using the command:
sh fix_permissions... or just add an .sh at the end of the file and run it using any file explorer that can run it....
That always solves all kind of problems and a lot of times u can also get away with wiping even if u come from a different rom.
There is also a script like that in recovery... its called fix apk uid mismatch... I forgot how clockwork recovery have it named, but for RA that the name and its inside the "other" menu entry.
I think most poeple know that already... but if not than its a nice tip.

i think the battery life is pretty good.. normal usage for 8 hours and i'm at 49%. I am having an issue with the signal strength being really weak always averaging 2 bars... anyone else having signal issues?

So, should I look for the "Fix APK" and run it through the ES File Explorer? How would the command look for running on the phone? Fix.apk.sh? My Market downloads are not happening, at least it takes so long that I cancel the download. Otherwise, this ROM is pretty sweet.
Thanks!

OK, I take that back. The Market seems to be working this morning, but it still takes around 5 minutes to start a download, or perhaps the download progress is just not showing??

Yeah, I had the same happened to me too, After about ten minutes of trying to download, I shut off the phone then turn it back on, once its done booting back on, the market starts to download the files.

That goes triple for me. Didn't start happening until using this ROM. Still a great ROM but it IS a lil irritating, especially when I'm in a hurry.

Great job with this Zone!!

Re: [ROM][10.10.10][EVO-Zone Riptide][EVO-Zone][3.29.651.5 OTA]

For those of you wondering about this ROM, my 6 day performance review 10/10/10 ROM:

-Im a sucker for eye candy ROMs, this is no exception:
1. Clear Task Bar
2. Clear Flip Clock BG
3. Simple quick launch bottom buttons

Before I flashed this ROM, I opened the ROM (did not extracted) and deleted some of the bloat and added some of my fav .APKs and ended up with a super fast, light weight bad mofo of a ROM. I didnt tweak, edited, rewrote or rescripted any part of the software just added a few simple apps and a replaced the Kernel. Below is what I experienced with this ROM:

77% Internal Mem left
0 Frozen screens or laggy performance ( even with a dozen apps running)
0 reboots or FC
Touchscreen is always responsive no matter what
The transitions are just plain SICK!
I replaced the Kernel with KINgXKernel CFS #9-it just works alot better
Battery life is incredible, almost 2 days of moderate use on a single charge, 40:11:44 Up time & 4:11:44 of Awake time.

Cons:

very minor considering the overall performance, very slow boot up time and the market is very slow in being identified and authenticated ( this only happens only once, right after flashing, otherwise works fine)

This is the best everyday high performance ROM I've used so far, very nice work!
