[ROM] UPDATE!!! [FroYo Fusion 2.5] [Android 2.2 | 8/18/10 [Sense and Senseless]

Here's a link to a version I cooked this morning that does not have Sense installed. You might get a forceclose on boot due to swype being cooked in. If so just go into settings > keyboard > and uncheck swype you may need to reinstall it or just leave it unchecked if you don't use it.

Note that this "senseless" version also includes a hosts file that blocks ads, If you would like to push the stock one back to your device via ADB Shell I'll provide it.

Agreed, Install launcher+ from
market and follow the same steps as for facebook and you will be golden. You need launcher + so you have a homescreen to work with....

Well I thanked you via "the button" but this rom is sweet! The launcher,IMHO, is more functional than Sense and looks cleaner. Everything works great so far other than not being able to update certain apps via the market. I figured it was the same procedure as posted about facebook so I need to do that now. I uninstalled swype thinking I had an apk but will have to go hunt it down. Launcher pro does not lag and the experimental 3d scroll has worked without a problem...gives you a bit of eye candy and an idea of where you are in the list. A non Sense 2.2 rom was just what I was looking for.

There is a file in the rom put on the sd card called extra_apks...found it.

Glad we have another Sense-less ROM. I am DL'ing now, will give you some feedback later tonight or tomorrow sometime. Looking forward to this though, maybe a list of what apps you added in would be a good draw on your first post

did what you said with facebook and launcher pro. works great. thanks again.

to fixed launcher ppro. just download adw launcher and installed it. uninstall launcher pro, reboot. install from market, then uninstall adw launcher. works great after that.

Ok same problem to update Titanium backup via market. I can"t use it to uninstall itself lol so what would be the procedure to do a manual update for that one?

Ok, I bought and downloaded Root Explorer from market. Thanks to chris1683 for the tip. It offers push button mount unmount of R/W R/O to remove sys files with ease. /system/app is where I found to get at the apps that are grayed out from uninstalling in the Android apps manager like Titanium Backup is in this rom.
