When using voice to text, in the "messages" app, no issues, only when using voice to initiate the text.

Any suggestions?
Thanks for the input. I have fixed the problem and it will be incorporated into the next release along with some other new updates.

EDIT: Looking for someone with 4G coverage to test out a new build. PM me if interested!

Re: [ROM] 10/27/10 | SPRINT LOVERS | 2.2 | 3.30.651.2 | Radio/Wimax/PRI All-In-One

HI, is anyone using this ROM connecting to a Wireless N network signal? I have a dual band Netgear router that is broadcasting both wireless G and N at 2.4Ghz, and my EVO never seems to find the N SSID, only the G. However I have a laptop with a wireless N card and it sees the SSID and can connect to the N signal. Is the EVO compatible with wireless N on 2.4 or 5Ghz, or both? And if both N and G are available, does it automatically default to G?

Thanks,

Thanks,
The EVO by default is wireless G, there is a hack out there to turn on wireless N put I guess it really sucks down the battery. In reality, having faster than what wireless G will give you is overkill on the EVO anyway.

Ok thanks, I thought I read somewhere that one of the updates included turning on the wireless N capability now, without having to hack the device like when it was originally released.

Re: [ROM] 11/02/10 | SPRINT LOVERS | 2.2 | 3.30.651.2 | Radio/Wimax/PRI All-In-One

how do u update? i dont want to wipe. does the "standalone update" update w/o wiping.

also, by simply uninstalling google voice search and installing it again from market fixed my search FC issue.

i prolly wont update since ive already done half ur changelog myself throughout the time of using ur rom since the last build, but what does increasing the MMS do? most carriers have a cap in place for about 512KB or 1MB anyway. unless im missing something.
