I love this rom. I was having an issue with the market not downloading and I fixed that. I'll post what I did to fix it below just incase someone else come through and have the same issue thinking it's the rom.

I don't have any major issue right now but I did notice that my PRL wont update "PRL Could not be updated. Please try again Later. If the problem persists, you may need to contact Customer Service. Error code: 1012" I'm about to search for answers...

OH yeah and the battery life is great on this rom.

"I was having the same issue and it looks like I just fixed my problem. I attempted to download apps but it was just stay in the downloading or start download mode... and then I would get a message about Google Talk not being connected. I did some reach and most answers said it deals with switching from Google mail domain to Gmail domain. It also said you would have to factory reset since you can't erase/change the Gmail account on the phone.

Here's all that I did. I'm not sure which part fixed the issue.
*I un-synced Gmail (still didn't work)
*I deleted the pop Gmail account I had set up (still didn't work)
*I went into the market, canceled everything that was pending a download, then I re-synced Gmail, and set my pop Gmail account back up and BAM!!!! It worked. (Oh and I restarted after I did all of this) **This time I set my 2nd gmail account up as an exchange server.

Edit, I'm on Sprint lovers rom. I didn't have the issue when I was on his first 2.2 rom but after his all in one rom I had the issue. ***I DON'T THINK THE ISSUE IS ROM SPECIFIC*** I believe it's all in how you set up your google accounts. (Maybe)

So I followed the toast method for rooting and have a full root. I installed your ROM and all is well for about 30-45 minutes and then I get a google talk authentication failed. Any idea on whats going on? I can't download anything from the market when that happens so it kinda sucks.

I have these exact same problems. GTalk failing and cannot update PRL.

I updated to PRL 60669 without any issue and also opened Talk and I was signed in and available.

I'm not sure about the PRL update I'll wipe and try again this evening. I didn't have an issue with the first 2.2 ROM so I'm sure it's user error.

Also try to do what I did for the Market place error, if it works for you let us know. I've read of a few people having the issue on the net. it's not evo or rom specific, it's an issue with google some how... I had 1 gmail account set up, then I set up a google apps account under exchange and then a gmail account under the mail pop settings... after I unsynced and did all I said above it fixed my error and I'm using the Market again with no issues...

I'm going to flash back stock and do everything over to see if that clears it up. Its not an immediate error for me. If I turn my phone off and back on its good for about 30 minutes and then the error pops up again.

edit..cant dowload from the market either? I wiped everything 2x before flashing this ROM..Gmail works fine but not Talk or the market..

Flashed to OMJ's rom and I'm not experiencing any of the issues. I'm not sure why its happening, but it is.

Read the bottom of my post above, after you set up the accounts and sync un-sync them and delete all accounts that aren’t used by the gmail app. Then go into market and cancel all the downloads you selected (Menu/downloads), also cancel the sign in to Gtalk. After this shut down/power off and power the phone back up. Re-sync your gmail apps account and go to gtalk to connect (at this point gtalk came right up for me) and then download something simple from the market, it should work... I hope

once again I don't think this error is not caused by this Rom. I've read issues where people had the same issue with other android phones

is anyone else having a problem with the market? mine will work fine when i first load the rom but after about a day it wont download anything. it will just always say starting download. and another thing i keep getting a google talk authentication failed notification. i dont even use google talk can i disable it somehow?
