I have no issues with the camera whatsoever and no one has reported anything like you mention. Be careful that you don't delete too many things from the system with root explorer as sometimes even the smallest app may have a system impact in some way.

I was on the 7/7 version, downloaded 7/8 and it seems to be fine so far - so possibly a bad download. Do you know how to remove the Sprint HotSpot from the ROM? Never going to use it since I use the Wireless Tether. THanks!

Is there a way to turn off sense..I just installed power stripper and wanted to try it without it.I went to settings and then manage app..but couldnt clear defaults.

And I just recently updated to the OTA ..then rooted.does that mean I got the latest radio?...and is it okay to update the prl?

There is a much easier and faster method of rooting now. It's been out a while but recently has been nearly perfected. I did it yesterday without a problem. Actually the one thing to remember is not to "hit any key to continue" on any of the screens when prompted. Just keep going to the next step. Therefore you should have 4 extra windows open when your done.

After rooting with that method I then installed your version 1 to get the updates then version 2 and it worked just fine. Super easy super quick...

You might wish to consider updating your first post to reflect using the faster method of rooting. The current link given had led me to a bug in the phone which made it very difficult to troubleshoot. I couldn't get Google Market to work so it led me to the faster alternative.

Hello Chris, couple of question, the radios and wimax link thath you have on the links both work perfectly right, and the other question is could you give me a little big explanation about how to add the boot initiation on the second optiont that you have, no the one that usse adb

Hey Chris I used your tp2 roms, I am waiting until the next version 1 update to root my phone and flash this, when about will you have the new version uploaded as I read you are still polishing it up,

In the Version 2 ROM, I made a sepcific folder under /data/animation which holds the bootanimation.zip (the animation) and the SPC_animation_final.mp3 (bootup sound). I did this because placing them in system memory will lock them down and they can no longer be changed. To change them you can simply copy and paste different files to that location (make sure they are named exactly the same). You can use root explorer which I HIGHLY recommend to accomplish this.

I haven't seen an answer to the 4G issue yet. I just flashed version 1 (my first Android custom ROM) and I can report that I DO have 4G working as it did before. I'm in Houston.

If anyone is still having a problem like the above, I can confirm that the PC36IMG.zip file downloads at random sizes as linked in this thread. I never got one larger than 122MB On Disk.

What I did, was downloaded the 4-Click OTA Easyroot app and stole the PC36IMG.zip out of there and put it on my card. I was NOT kicked back to boot loader after that, it flashed per the instructions.
