Chris, I haven't tried it yet, but is wired tethering stealth on your ROM like the wifi tether or do I need to use something else if I want to tether via USB.

My rom does not contain wired tethering. You can find it on the site through a search and install it though. My rom only includes wireless tethering as of now.

Running this rom w baked kernel #2 and man battery life is awsome. He tweaked the sound too and that is booming, but the rom helped me outt alot when i had to update the pri it only took one try and success i got it up n my data is back to how i had it in day one of me n my Evo :)

Im trying to download the file but megaupload say "The file you are trying to access is temporarily unavailable" anybody know why?

I just downloaded it with no problem. Maybe a server issue with megaupload.

was using the EVO Saturday afternoon (had downloaded the latest ROM on Friday), went to show some videos, wouln't play them at all........even locked the device up. So I flashed back to the stock kernel and everything is fine.

Could you speculate a little more. Was it a youtube video, a converted video? Did you flash to a different kernel before the problems?

does flashing this from the PC36IMG delete any Recovery we may already have on our phone..I do not want to lose Amon Ra recovery..Not so good at using my computer to push all that stuff?? thanks

they were .wmv files..........one was a video I recorded using the EVO........I would get the message "unable to play"..........the other was a similar video my brother made using his HTC Touch, that would gave me the same message but locked up the phone; had to take battery out.
