system/app/Sprint_TV.apk
E:Verification failed.

Installation aborted.

I assume if I find the Sprint_TV.apk and drop in the system/app folder in the zip, it should take care of it. Just a heads up chris1683.

FYI, I downloaded the zip about 10 min ago.

Thanks

UPDATE: Found the Spinrt_TV.apk from another ROM,dropped it in the system/app folder, retried the update...no go...stated something about wrong Digest or something. I tried..lol

I see from the current post that people have been able to flash sprint lovers latest ROM. I just redownloaded the ROM and still get the above error about the missing the sprint_TV.apk

The recovery that I'm using is the latest RA mon. I managed to flash/nanbackkup few other 2.2 ROM's without any hickups so I know that i'm fully rooted...but i really want to roll with Chris's ROM. Any Ideas?

Prior to this, I followed Chris recommendation and flashed to Stock and rerooted. I plan on restoring from a backup and changing my recovery to clockmod's and trying again and see if that makes a difference.

**Update...flashing the ROM using the Clockworkmod was successful** FYI for those having issues installing

I think you can use Titanium Backup for what you want to do.

Hi ... Raw NOOb here. First time Rooting and Flashing Rom.
Wanted to get it right the first time so after reading innumerable postings I finally decided to try FastRXB tutorial EVERYTHING EVO - Rooting | NAND | Flashing Roms | Wipe http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=123714 . It worked GREAT.

As part of it was flashing a custom Rom I checked around a bit, most of the time not knowing what I was reading, and decided to try 8/6/10 | SPRINT LOVERS | FroYo | Offical 3.26.651.6| Included Radio/Wimax 4G |. Again it worked GREAT.

Thanks Chris for the fine effort.

However, I am having one problem which probably belongs in another forum, but because it may involve the ROM I decided to post it here.

It has to do with the Sprint Hotspot and Wireless Tethering apps. They seem to start OK and my iPod Touch "sees" it and accepts the connection. The EVO (hotspot) also "sees" the attached device (1 connected user). However, when trying to access the internet (Safari) I get the message "Cannot Open Page .... because it's not connected to the internet".

Any replies or other post id's are appreciated.

Thanks
Crrabby
