What is up with the weird cities that keep popping up in the weather widget??

Excellent question. My time keeps changing and some weird city in Africa showing up.

I'm on this rom right now and I don't have any issues with the weather widget. It shows my city. But I did notice that each time I flash this Rom upon first bootup the time is in 24 hour format. It goes to 12 hour format shortly after the initial provisioning process. I just thought this was odd because no other Rom has done this for me... only this Rom. Perhaps It's something related with the weather widget showing other country/cities? I just thought is mention what I noticed.

Will this wipe all your data and applications? Or will it just upgrade the patch and leave everything as is? Thanks.

It leaves everything as is, Just like an OTA update..

I should have explained...

I don't think the problem is ROM related. I have seen people with this issue posting all over the net, some not even rooted. I think it's related to Sprint's latest update.

That's good to know. It's still strange that the time is in 24 hour format upon fresh flash and first bootup. Anybody else notice that? No biggie though.

That is normal. The phone will contact the network at first boot from a new flashed rom. The phone is set to gather it's time settings from the Sprint Network. Once it set's everything up the first time you should not see it in 24 hour time format again unless you set it to that.

Nice to see this thread. Will be over here soon, maybe with the next generation Sprint phones if they ever come out. I have been trying the Android builds with my TP2 and this look like the way to go.

Would be nice if the first thread has a "Whats included" type section with all the apps/tweaks applied. I see many of them in the changelog and I know its basically all the Sprint apps + some "extra goodies." Just wondering what those are. It makes it easier to compare your ROM to others. My EVO is in the mail and Im trying to decide what ROM to flash when I get it.
