what is the "HTC IME Mod" ???

I'm still on the 11/21 update and have had no issues. What benefit do the WiFi Hotspot updates have?

The new Hotspot app has removed the "lock" icon and also added support for farenheit temperature units in the battery icon.

It is another input method which is the default HTC keyboard only without the arrows which allows for easier typing (for some). You now have 4 available keyboards to choose from in the rom.

*I attached the additions for you guys below, and also the original stock kernel for those of you who want to test other ones and then go back to stock. The HTC IME Mod and kernel must be flashed through recovery.

is this IME keyboard better then ULTRA or SWYPE? also why did the latest WIFI HOT SPOT remove the lock? also a read somewhere that the SPRINT hop-spot now works with 4G or was I reading wrong and it still only works in 3G?

so after flashing the 12/5 rom, do we have to then flash the 3 files in post #1135?

No.. I think 2 of them are for people who just want to put those files on without flashing the entire ROM. and the other one is the stock kernel in case you want to try out a different one and then go back to stock

Now that Gingerbread was released today I can hardly wait for it to be added to this rom. Hurry Chris hurry. LOL
