PPCGeeks - [ROM] 08/03/11 | SPRINT LOVERS | 2.3.3 | 4.24.651.1

Hello anyone...........if you have a v0003 hardware version, do the four circular buttons at the bottom of the display stay lit all the time your display is on, or do they go off sometimes?

The light for the keys is tired to the light sensor and will ONLY go on when it needs to.. I have 003 hardware and thats the way it always worked...

EDIT: actually, since installing the latest ROM, I noticed they stay on but maybe I am inside where the sensor thinks they need to be on..

I believe Chris integrated more of the programs into the rom so they are stored in the 1gb rom partition instead of the 512mb program partition.

Yea that's the same problem I am running into with mine. Just when you think it is a design feature, intended to work a specific way, it seems to go off an a tangent and just do whatever it wants. That is why I am wondering if it is intenional or just a bug.

I have not tried MULTI-Touch but I am running SWYPE without any issues.. its the newest version with the microphone too ...

I was getting FC on swype but the multitouch keyboard works fine

Sorry if this has already been posted and answered, but searching hasn't found me an answer.

I had the Swype 2.10 beta release working on my last 2 ROMs but when I flashed this one, it errors out when I try to go to settings or open it as a text editor.

Anyone else run in to this or have a solution?
