I love this ROM and this may have been answered in an older post but I cant figure out how to load SWYPE on this ROM. Does anyone have a way to do this because I dont like the HTC messaging but I love this ROM and I really like SWYPE. Please Help.

Swype comes preinstalled on the phone, just activate it in language and keyboard. I'm using it right now.

Signal generally has been 4 bars or better when it happens. Does that suffice?

Im trying to install the original clock apk but it does not let me install. any advice?

Can you be a little more specific? What original clock and how are you trying to install it.

That is not Swype that is pre-loaded on this rom. It is some sort of HTC messaging.

I am wanting to install the real Swype on the phone using this ROM. I have installed Swype but when I attempt to launch it I recieve an error saying that it has forced the app to close.

I searched on the internet and it appears other people are having this issue with this Rom also.

So how do you use Swype once it is install on this rom because it forces it to close out and it should not do that. Every other rom I have used is letting me use it including the Stock rom but not this Rom.

Thanks for any help you can give with this.

what I did was go to system/lib via root explorer and delete the libswype.co or something along those lines and then try to reinstall

New OTA today, 3.70. Maybe a new kernel also. Can't wait for Chris to cook it in. Time to do some flashing.
