I'm not looking to get battery time out of using this, rather clean up the memory usage. I have found that keeping this clear will help the phone run better in all aspects. And before you ask I have set up the killer to ignore anything that has to do with Sense.

It doesn't do much for memory either, if your low on memory move programs to the sd card using Titanium Backup. It will move programs that the manage applications or apps2sd can't.

So does minfreemanager that modifies the parameters for the built in manager hurt or help? It isn't a manager in itself but so easy to edit the retorts froyo settings

Is there any reason why I am missing the HTC clock on the home screen with latest rom? Any ideas on how to get it back?

Reflash it. I have not heard of anyone else nor myself having this issue.

Thanks for the tip! I did know that it had the capability to do that.

But, now I'm confused... Adv. Task killer says that I have ~125-150mb free where as Titanium say that I have ~320mb... which one is the more correct? What memory is each of the programs reading to get these numbers... I would think that they are the same...

lots of discussion about task killers BUT specifically, what about minfreemanager? This isnt a true task killer but rather a program to tweak the built in task manager. I used it to changed some settings to what I found in another thread. Does changing the default settings hurt battery life or make it better? I think my phone is running faster since I made the changes... and better battery life but Im not 100% sure as its only been a couple of days...
