Thanks. I don't see the difference in battery life either. Still not having any problems but will switch back to the stock kernel if I do. Thanks again for the link.

Has anyone noticed a change for the better in battery life between the latest STOCK kernel that works with SPRINT LOVERS and the NETARCHY one? I read on here that most people dont see a difference but one person on here says they get better battery life. I am trying to figure this out before I flash a new kernel.

Thanks....

You flash a kernel like you would flash any zip from sd drive. Make sure to wipe calvin cache and cache before you install the kernel. Reboot the phone. You will not lose data and you can always reflash your original kernel if you needed to. Give a new kernel a day or two before you make the ultimate decision on changing it back.

Best bet is to try out different kernels and see which one you like for yourself.

Noticed something strange. The phone will be in standby mode and sometimes I turn it on and sense is restarting. Why? The only thing I am running and have been since I had this phone is minfreemanager set to aggressive. It didn't happen when I first installed this rom on friday and just started doing this today. Any ideas?

I am having this same issue... I can't pin point exactly what is causing it. Chris, have you got any ideas on what to look at? I am not running this ap killer, but I am useing Adv. Task killer... which doesn't seem to be working as well as it had been in the past. When ever I turn on the phone I have about 5-10 task/ ap's that want to run no matter what I do to the phone.

Has anyone had any problems with Sprint TV cutting off after just a few minutes, with the message that this channel is not available?

That usually happens when signal is low or you drop data connection. I had that problem at home before I got an airave.

My previous 0003 evo's touck-keys would go off by themselves after a short time if in a dark room unless it was plugged into the charger, then they would stay lit. They are tied into a light sensor for sure. The charger seems to bypass it though.

Stop using a task killer it is just a placebo. It does nothing for your battery life. It actually uses more battery if you have it set up to kill tasks in the background. Your phone will also use more battery reloading programs that task killer shutdown. Do a google search and you will find many more articles about the disadvantages of task killers than the advantages.
