Forgive the n00bish question but I am still learning Android. I rooted using Toast's method and then flashed this updated rooted rom to my evo from the sd card. I did everything as stated and am wondering whether or not this gives access to uninstall stock sprint stuff such as "Sprint Zone" I have read a little here and there on nand protection and am a little confused as to know if it is protected/unprotected and whether or not I can even uninstall those applications with this rooted updated rom. Any help and insight is greatly appreciated guys!

FYI I have tried to uninstall them from within Application management and I only have the ability to clear cache.

So I updated to the new update from the link, and my screen started registering touches that I wasn't doing. Anyone else have this? Had to revert back.

i seen a few posts similiar to this. You may just want to reboot. Theres a good app called Quick Boot in the market. Allows you to soft reset, go into recovery, and bootloader.

Also if it still doing this screen touch thing, just wipe and reflash again. Should have to though. Good luck.

Mine also registering touches in the upper right of the screen. I've tried rebooting by holding down the volume down and the power button and selecting clear storage. And it hasn't fixed the problem.

Anyone know where I can download an untouched copy of the 1.47 ota? I recently tried to revert back to stock from sprint lovers version 2 and now for some reason my software version is showing as 1.17 from the directions I got from another thread. My phone keeps showing that I'm up to date with I try to download it. Every time I try to update from an ruu it will restart my phone but then it will freeze up at a black screen with the HTC logo on it before the ruu times out. Any help much appreciated.
