can someone help out a noob...i flashed to fresh .03 and spent the last couple days getting my phone exactly how i want it, now i see there is a new version out. This will be my first time upgrading a rom, will i lose all my apps and all their settings? Also all the tweaks i did for the battery life? and will i lose my adw settings as well? Or can i do titanium backup or something like that and backup, then upgrade rom, then restore and have my phone setup the way it is now only with the new rom version. Please help, i dont want to start over from scratch if i can avoid doing so...thanks

OK, am I missing something. im coming from damagedrom, I did a factory wipe as well as dalvick cache and am still having the rom loop on the boot screen. I also have nand unlocked.

Good news and bad news, Bud ... if you're using Gmail, it will sync all your contacts, appointments, etc. You can also backup your apps, but the settings in the apps will be lost. All the settings and tweaks you will need to do over again.

have mercy......ok well thanks for the news....so whats the best way to backup my apps...i have appbrain, do i just reinstall them all...i though apps2sd would keep me from having to do that??

I did an nandroid backup prior to the update, then restored only the data portion after updating... It restores all of your programs and settings exactly how they were, though I'm still waiting to hear if there's any down side to doing it this way...
