Ok I've noticed that it will run fine with out the Kernel so the problem isn't OMJ's ROM but that was never what I suspected. So what;s the issue since no one is having and issue with the Kernel. I don't actually know which Recovery I'm using it Just says Android System Recovery at the top. How would I go about loading a new Recovery and I always wipe sometimes even shower LMAO

Go into Market and search "rom manager". Download and install Rom Manager, then open. Once that is open, select flash clockworkmodrecovery, confirm you have a HTC cdma Evo, then it will install. Next, second to the bottom is flash alternative recovery, select that and it will install (Amon) RA Recovery. You can use either to wipe/flash.

if you are talking about a theme, what theme and is it compatable with this rom? If you are getting loops then try netarchy kernal that was develop from DC or Fresh roms. the work better with themes

King's BFS #8 is awesome for me but I've seen a lot of posts about bootlooping with it. Not all devices will respond the same to the same kernel. If you are wiping cache and dalvik before flashing it then I'd try what Nygel said-Netarchy make's killer kernels too. Start with his latest.

Also using King's BFS #8, found here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=754128
For a theme I am using Riptides, found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=727117
BUT...I have been looking at the Kuma theme lately and really digging it. Any one tried it out yet? Here is the Kuma theme: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=742164

So, IKS, I was able to get google maps on my phone, and even the new update. If anyone was having a problem with the installs from market saying the "package was not signed correctly," or "unknown reason -8," and tried everything, I wiped everything, reflashed the ROM and installed everything from market rather that recovery. It's more of a pain, but it worked for me. Thanks for the help IKS!
