iknowsquat, could you tell me which one out of the aloysius themes (there are multiple files to pick from ) I've never had any themes on the phone other than enamored which came on OMJ's v1.9 ROM. I'm running v2.1 deodexed with netarchy's kernel..

oh, and what app do you guys use to take snap shots of the screens.???

Sorry about the off-subject question... I guess you could say it's Indirectly related to OMJ's deodexed ROM?? :)

Yes, that happens to me from time to time.. Not sure why but I just wake the phone and it starts back up.. I'm going to uninstall app killer and see how it goes..

Ok, check the following:
1 - Mail account settings (how often you fetching emails?)
2 - Weather/News Updates (How often you updating this)
3 - Facebook (How often you update)
4 - Stocks (I'm broke so I ain't got any stocks, my Sheat is OFF here)
5 - 4g, WiFi, bluetooth. These are serious battery killers if you are not using them.. Specially 4g. I'm in Miami, and we ain't go Jack for the extra $10 I'm paying so my 4g is OFF. WiFi, unless I'm gonna d/l OMJ's new ROM via WiFi from my house, OFF. BlueTooth, only if I got bluetooth headset crancking - typicallys at 6am till 7am and then again at 4pm till 5pm.. It's my train ride to and from work.. irrelevant but point is I turn bluetooth on and off as needed.

Check those above and report back..

OMJ hit it on the head...using that HTC Music widget is the devil.

Uhh.. That I don't have.. But my "Debuggy" senses indicate:

1 - do you have an App Killer?
2 - If yes to question #1, then App Killer is most likely the culprit.
3 - How often is app killer cycling? If you are listening to music and phone is on but once the phone goes to sleep (screen off) then App Killer is set to kill Music app once "Screen Off". Those are one of the options in App Killer.

Take a look and report back.. all these issues people are having with music, battery drain, syncs, not getting laid, :scratch: what, what???, and other common problems, should not be attributable to OMJs ROM... Most of them are simple tweaks that need to be managed and set up accordingly..

I personally prefer MixZing.. I love the app.. A bit expensive but it runs great..

I use the Dalvik Debug Monitor Service (DDMS) which is a tool in the Android SDK if I'm going to grab a lot of screenies but ShootMe like OMJ said is cool too.

I'm currently running Aloysius Clear, essentially Aloysius but with a clear lockscreen and taskbar.

EDIT:Keep in mind that most screenies of koni's are from his 2.1 ROMs and there may be some differences til he gets his Evo (sold out in his neck o' da woods :protest: )

Uninstalled the app killer and now my phone sleeps...very interesting...also took off the htc music widget..(is the Android music widget ok to use>??) Big shout out to this community..
